I loved fishing in newquay couple of years ago now and would love to go back there again. That was a launce (greater sandeel) u should have kept it for bait, or send it out as a live bait for big bass 😁 great video. Tight lines 👍 🎣

It’s such a cool town and in winter it was weirdly quiet and it made it that bit nicer I have to say! Haha the more people the more I regret not doing it 😂 but hey lesson learnt and fun had by all 😆 thanks pal & tight lines too!🙌🙌

Defo a sand-eel mate. They call them launce in Cornwall I believe. I’d try a sliding float approach for the wrasse as they tend to like a more static bait. Great little video, keep them coming 👏🏻🎣🐟

Staying at fistral on 30th Sept for a week. What set up would you recommend for rock fishing please!
@japanesefishingadventures Жыл бұрын
If recommend a 15g-30g spinning rod, in this I’m using the rigged and ready predator which is tough and robust but any will do! 40ib braid minimum and a strong 30ib fluro leader! A big fish can pull you through the rocks in no issue!! All the best good sir!!!

The fish that looked like a sand eel is called a launce, or sand lance. They're not really sand eels, but they like to eat them and are much bigger.
