Very helpful video. I fished off Cromer Pier while on holiday last September. I think the sea defence work had coloured the water so much the fish couldn't find my bait - that's my excuse for a blank anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, they are also doing similar work along the coast at Mundesley. Hopefully it will not affect the tide flow and therefore the fishing once it's completed 👍

It was a funny day, looked ideal. I spoke to two others anglers who fished Weybourne and Cley further up the coast. They reported exactly the same , not one bite and baits untouched.

Went swimming at that point in the summer, it drops off fairly quickly as opposed to the beach in town, where you are only waist deep several hundred metres out. It looks a great place to fish, but I’m guessing you need to fish it as the light goes.

Yes you are correct. The deepest point is right at the bottom of the shingle even at high tide. As you go out further, it shallows up near the chalk 'reef' . I've seen someone standing on it at high tide , waist deep and yes , as soon as darkness falls , the fishing definitely improves 👍
