Well lovely size fish caught and you did catch as you said a fish is a fish does not mater the size if it’s plate size it’s a bonanzas. I took my granddaughter out on Tuesday night and she caught her first mackerels of the season as well as a sand eel and a duck yes a duck, I was out on Thursday night lost 4 good sized mackerel and a set of feathers but still took 10 mackerel home happy neighbours tight lines till the next one

Nice bass for your mate’s dinner there Glen. What did you have for tea? Sandwiches again? What’s the biggest bass you’ve ever had on a rod and reel mate? Looks a nice place that.

Cracking session, with 2 very nice size Bass. I think I may have been fishing Ramsgate western undercliff the same night, as I could see headlamps down at the hoverport. I didn't know you could fish the hoverport anymore, because Pegwell is now a nature reserve, so I've been avoiding it just to be on the safe side.
@gsp3 жыл бұрын
It probably was us, i would have had lights to film too. Did you get anything? The hoverport itself is separate from the nature reserve and there is a fence line separating the two. There are no signs in the hoverport area saying about a site of scientific interest, nature reserve or no fishing so im of the assumption that it is ok to fish there. Obviously keep it clean and take everything home with you👍

@@gsp I did Greg, looking at my diary it could be 1 of 2 sessions, so I either had 9 dogfish and 4 schoolies, or the next session when I had 7 dogfish, 2 schoolies and 2 eels

@@bazontherocks7159 very nice, both sound like hectic sessions😂👍

@@gsp Not as hectic as it was a couple of months back. I can only fish 1 rod due to my bad back, but in 2 nights I ended up with 60 fish. 57 dogfish, 2 schoolies and an eel. It's gone quiet there now, my last session was a blank

good video that unlucky on the schoolies but 3 target fish good going wounder if it may have helped just fishing a pulleys penel on the sqid and had a hook through its head but nevertheless a good video i fish with Ben regularly good man and good fisherman 🤟🎣
@gsp3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, in hindsight i should have pennelled the squid on as i would have probably hooked the bite i had but i was going all out for something to swallow it whole and snap my tip in half! 🤦♂️😂 It didnt happen tho. I see ben post nearly every day on fb but first time ive met him. It was a good little session with good company

@bazontherocks71593 жыл бұрын
@@davekemp9193 I hate the pier too, fished it once earlier in the year for 2 whiting, before the army of crabs moved in. I know it can fish well, but I don't like the amount of crab activity. Only time I go in the summer is if the water is clear, so I can target the Launce, but the constant winds this year haven't allowed for that.

Can i ask were you park pls

We park up on the road by the vikimg ship, either by the gates if fishing at night or in the side stret opposite pegwell bay park if daytime
