Lovely looking spot for Gilts and Mullet, the catches will come for you putting in the hours. My first Gilt last year was 15th March so I'll be out any time soon for a shot.

Love the vlog Paul,you do thing's your way fishing and let everyone else do there's and has for hooks keep doing what you are doing as we all blank but like you said never admit it, feels like I've shot a robin recently as I haven't had a mullet for a week and a half but we all still plod on, looking forward to your next vlog,happy hunting and tight lines 👊🎣

Another great video Paul, Totally agree with comments in relation to hooks. I lure fish from time to time and have changed most of my lures to single hooks or cut the trebbles

Interesting stuff learning about presenting crab baits.. Was seeing the mullet tugs and wondering how far do you let them go, a speculative strike or wait till they slam the rod over. ?

Do I need a coarse licence to fish for mullet? At what point fishing estuaries do I need a EA license? Many thanks (My local is the EXE)

The answer is no BUT I believe the upper exe(tidal) is club waters so you have to join to fish it Plenty of other rivers free 👍
