Fair play getting the kayak out it was partly due to you & other youtubers that I got one a couple of years back.Took me 6 trips before catching anything but I,ve been doing a lot better recently. Will be going to Swanage on Thursday for go.

It takes a few times to get used to it! Enjoy swanage! It’s a great place, if you go early you can fish the end of the pier for little species for fun! The sand banks by the cliffs produce a few rays and other bits and bobs! Have a great safe trip!

What sort of Kayak would suit someone whos not as fit as you . I am 65 and would love to have ago at this . I was told that a 15ft Kayak would be best ??? seems a little to big to me ??? Great stream mate 👍👍👍

Your never to old to start! The hobie is quite heavy but the pedals I find great! If your just wanting to do some local fishing and have a bit of fun the Viking kayaks are lighter and very stable and safe. This kayak of mine is only just over 10ft. You don’t need 15ft. 12ft is absolutely fine. The Viking reloads are probably what I would take a look at, or a decent second hand ocean kayak. What sort of fishing would you like to do?

Im a bigger guy, 6ft1 23st, i would love to give this a go, but most yaks dont seem to have the capacity for my weight. Ive seen a cambridge kayaks "big catch" which is ideal weight wise, but only 10.5ft, alot of people have said this is too short for open sea fishing, do you agree? The alternative is a viking reload, but the weight capacity is much less and im worried ill be too close to the weight limit once i have all my fishing bits. Any advice would be great, thankyou@@MuscleFishingOfficial

@@ukbeachfishing8425 10.5ft will be ok in most fair sea conditions. The hobie I have is under 11ft and similar size. Always been good, the reload will sit to low in the water I think if it’s overloaded. The hobie kayaks are excellent and my friend has the Cambridge kayak and has been impressed so far. Some of the kayak centres allow you to try before you buy.

@@MuscleFishingOfficial thankyou for taking the time to reply, i have another question if you wouldnt mind 😅 Im also looking at the tuffy 300 and whaly 310, as i would like to do some trips with friends/family aswell, when travelling further afield, how do you go about parking/stopping overnight with the trailer/boat. Do you stop at hotels/campsites, if so how do you find somewhere to park with trailer etc. Thankyou
