A well deserved PB Paul, be careful with your health, especially after your operation. I had something similar happen to me when I fished alone when I caught a massive pike and had to land it and the net broke and I collapsed and nearly fell into the river. I was shaking from head to toe and took me ages to get back to normal.

That is 1 really great conger well done that's amazing conger usually thrash about even with the hook took out happy fishing tight lines. I make up my own beach fishing traces & I also make up my own conger & tope traces for boat fishing & make my own beach & boat leads

@@bassmansbountyfishing your welcome. I think it was last year I fished down at St. Audries beach I caught an 8 lb thornback ray on my 11 foot 6 bass rod & also caught a conger about 8 to 10 lb had showery rain on & off but well worth it though 👍

Thanks very much love my sea fishing & boat fishing. I've even made up a set of 4 mackerel feathers out of a walkers crisp packet & also made up about 12 sea fishing floats out of the plastic jif lemons that you use when its pancake day plus I've made up 2 big jif lemon floats as well

A good eel there Paul my shore pb was 18lb caught on sully island on my own it was barking at me when i landed it. my boat pb was 40lb out of plymouth.

Cracking fish mate well done. Ignore the cornflake box toy collectors. It’s funny how they always seem to moan about the way they’re handled yet never mention a hook through its face, dragged 100yrds over rocks and kelp, pulled out their home and into an atmosphere that can suffocate them…. Heavy duty estuary fishing 💪 quick tip from a long time braid user put 4or5 feet of 50lb mono on the end of the braid with a FG knot gives you something to grab when the fish is close in and if you get really snaged up and you cant bend the hook out the mono will give before the 80lb braid 😎 nice eel to start the winter 🐍🐍🐍 nice

Nice eel however I feel that you can curb the gestures and not put comments on like “shaking like a s@@@@ing dog “ totally out of order as your younger viewers can and will pick up on all of it i feel that it would improve your viewer numbers and make the videos much more enjoyable . Tight lines

You should drop your rod tip and play it like a carp. Fish go against the tension so if your tip is up the fish is going to go down and try to snag you. If your tip is down it'll go horizontal

Hi mate 👍 Have you ever caught a 20lb eel from the shore on BIG gear? One does not play a big eel like a carp! Carp do not swim backwards like eels, it’s ALWAYS brutal, I have caught enough to know that. 👍👍👍
