"I'm Mike Nelson. Business--well, just about anything underwater. This job was a technical one. I had to take slow motion underwater photographs of the action of an outboard motor in operation. I was concentrating on operating the camera, which was why I didn't notice my visitor at first. She came at me in sections - more curves than a scenic railway. She was bad! She was dangerous. I wouldn't trust her any farther than I could throw her. But... she was my kind of woman."

Yes, Keylie this is a pristine copy, the best there is and this upload needs to be colorized. Lisa Gaye was an expert swimmer, horse-back rider, archeress, pianist, linguistic and dancer, all rolled into one. Because of her swimming expertise, she was used in five episodes of this popular TV show. Her swimming prowess was shown to advantage in Northwest Passage and Adventures in Paradise. There are gorgeous close-ups of the beautiful Lisa and the color will vividly catch the green of her eyes. Kindly oblige Keylie with the colorization and, thanks in the meantime.

Did she do her own diving on "Sea Hunt"? In black and white, I couldn't tell if her eyes were blue or green, but I could tell they weren't brown.
@ianedwards44006 ай бұрын
@@BaronWrangle Lisa had dark brown hair and dark green eyes. She was an expert swimmer and did all her own stuff, which was why she was called back several times to participate in the show. She swam well too in Frontier Rangers/Northwest Passage plus in Adventures in Paradise: Wild Mangoes. Lisa was also an avid horseback-rider, spoke 5 languages which showed how linguistic she was. She was an expert pianist and a dancer, excelling in ballet. If you haven't seen her in these films then you must: Rock around the clock, Ain't Misbehavin and Shake Rattle & Rock. She played an Armenian wine dancer in Have Gun Will Travel: Helen of Abajinian and also a ballet dancer in Passport to danger: Vienna [December 1956].

Maybe I´m missing something, but how does a race where both participants have underwater scooters of equal power and velocity prove that one participant is faster than the other? It´s more a matter of experience versus lack thereof.

Cant help but comment: experienced cave and dpv (diver propulsion vehicle) diver here; You CAN race underwater with equally matched DPVs - I've done it many times. You can supplement the speed of the dpv by kicking, also streamlining and technique play a huge part. Yes greater mass increases drag but a more streamlined diver of greater mass can outperform a diver whose configuration turns them into a human drogue chute.

Even though I am a staunch fan of Lisa Gaye, I didn't really care much for this series. True, Lisa was an expert swimmer, which was one of the reasons why she made 5 episodes of this series. I preferred her [loved her] in those 50's/60's Detective Dramas: Bourbon Street Beat, 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaiian Eye, Surfside Six, Mike Hammer and The Walter Winchell File to name a few. Still there are any number of fans who love this series, so Sea Hunt will live on.

Not to be picky, but the so-called sonar scope is a radar repeater with range rings turned on, which no self respecting Operations Specialist or Radarman (as it was called in those days) would ever use. Range rings that is, nobody uses it.
