Nice boat and you have it set up well too. I sold my project boat and have now got an older 14 foot tinny, A Clark that the old owner put a ally cuddy cab onto and all I need to do now is rewire the electrics as it had like 60 40 ( my 4 year olds number not mine) cig lighter sockets for everything it had including nav lights. Keep enjoying the fishing mate. Cheers, Rob.

Hi mate, Nice work on the video. It is difficult to find a good video on the 468 where you can really see the size of the boat, and internal space so your video was great. I have just ordered one to replace a 449 stacer, has been great too. I have shortened the cast deck by about a foot, to give more room and opted for the Ranger instrument console. It looks like everything i expected, tight lines Chief.

@@StraitCatchCook1 So when i initially talked to S.C.M they said the end of the year, however i am hoping September. I have to call them again. I have removed a lot of options such as rod holders, live bait tank, side pockets so not a super complicated build. I am putting in an a separate live bait tank, fitting the rod holders and nav gear myself and rod racks down one side hence no side pockets. I am currently in NZ and even over here all the builders are slammed with orders so i was not surprized your new one was a year away. I think they like to give themselves some breathing room and also have to keep up with dealer demand. They have to have some on show. Can i ask What is your next model.

yeah I like the idea of fitting it out yourself from new, saves having to change the factory stuff, I'm going to keep the new one a secret for now mate

I really like the seajay and rate the build quality. I got a quote for a 448 avenger but the only two things that made me pick something else was it was limited to 50hp (everyone else at that size is offering 60hp) and it would take over 6 months to build with the quoted price not being fixed. Basically if price of raw materials goes up they (and telwater were doing this as well) were wanting to invoice over the initially quoted amount. Not cool in my book.

yeah righto mate, I'm not sponsored or anything, just sharing my experiences

Thanks for the run through mate. How does she handle the chop?
@StraitCatchCook13 жыл бұрын
yeah pretty good for it's size, you do get very wet with a bit of side wind though think that's the case in all open boats this size, if you take them out in a bit of weather

@@StraitCatchCook1 roger that. When I was younger I used to fish around german creek from maroom in my 12 foot tinny. Had some rough and very wet trips home from there 🍻
