One of my favourite music videos of all time. Most are unwatchable. This one you can just put on repeat. Song's good too.

I saw this band last year live. Didn't know much about them in all honesty. They won me over after performing their first song. If you like anthemic, memorable, well-harmonized songs you will like British Sea Power. This song is perhaps the best I've heard from them alongside 'waving flags' and 'no man is an archipelago'

Machines of Joy? Brilliant! What a perfect name for a bicycle. I'm going to see British Sea Power live this weekend in York. A stadium band in a tiny venue - thank you boys.

It was brilliant. A stadium band in a small intimate venue. Sound was great - stage was small. An eclectic audience - all age groups and genres represented! Only downside was they they never played an encore - even the crowd was up for it.

Maybe it's because I've been immersed in his writings as of late, but this video has a Thomas Hardy aspect that just can't be ignored. From the opening scene, the solitary cyclist(Hardy's oft mentioned "speck" on the landscape) the melancholia.

Proper budget video but less is more, it complements the song and the simple, relaxed style of music more than some flashy over-the-top bollocks. As for the song, well, that's something else. Love it. Very recently found BSP but certainly a new fan!
