"Felt" is the key word here, huge difference between not being noticed by a crush and seeing your reflection in her window that you shouldn't be anywhere near lol. Put it this way, a similar song like this exists, it's called "I never knew you" by cage only it's theme is a lot more obvious and shows a much darker side of things...

@@charlottehanna790The thing is, we are driven by two prevalent parts of our human being: mind and soul. And mind rejects soul's advanced but our soul won't give up. Our soul then starts projecting our true desires through our bodies. One way or another, mind will either give in to the heart's true desires, or die together with the body

While cleaning today, I came across a box, which I had kept away from sometime, it had everything which my ex had given me, small, big gifts, books, dried flowers, his drum sticks, and a ring. It’s been 3 years that we broke up, I saw these things after almost a year.. I found a letter he had written to me when he was asking for forgiveness, this song was part of that letter, I never heard and saw this song before, but today I wanted to see it. Can’t deny how close I feel today to this girl in the video. He moved to a different country, we did not get back together. I went to a solo trip last year To turkey, walked a lot, alone, took early morning flights, stayed alone, did not make friends, read, had coffee, looked at beautiful places longingly, thinking how would it feel to share it with someone. Missed flights, cried, when happy, when sad.. but eventually, felt like a different person. All the effort of those two years, got a push and helped me heal. Today when I saw this video, heard this song, I feel different. Leaving this note makes me feel good about finally acknowledging everything that happened and overcoming it. It’s a beautiful song, but sadly, I won’t hear it again, if I can help it 😅 It is a beautiful song ❤

You see music can be interpreted in so many different ways. If you are open to the thought of this being something complely different than the potential of this song alluding to a one sided love, then begin to ponder upon this idea... What if you view the person possessing her heart, as her soul, as a lady who has managed extremely dark depression at times even my happiest of memories or people that made me the woman I am today cast an unwanted shadow of darkness because they had to help me heal through a severe illness at such a young age, I became addicted to solo travel at some point in my 20's and couldn't stop the need to travel, to witness others lives in their own element, as a tourist. As a calm quiet tourist, I have spent some time with the "me" I can see in a perspective of my soul that left my body after trauma trying to spend time, that plead me to stay, as if my soul trying to have me see that I'll find love, the soul is the basis of every human, the days outside my window the outside world outside of my soul yet the outside world saying let your soul lead you, as if my soul is resting it's arms within mine saying let's go let's let go, don't reject me, don't give up so easily on who you are. Even many times I thought the miles under my feet would save me, it can't, but over time I have been slowly but steadily finding the love within myself to keep growing, to find the love I need, myself. My soul, my heart, my mind, my body. Spending time with my life my soul and my perspective outside guiding me, eventually the de realization that severe depression has brought I have slowly but significantly over years been returning to my soul, she's their still fighting for me so elegantly binding me into the woman she knows I am. Beautifully the me I always have been will possess my heart.
@Krati.sharma
@Krati.sharma 2 жыл бұрын
It is so magical finding your comment. Because I have a similar interpretation here's how it goes : This song to me is about Travel and finding oneself. It's almost her inner voice singing to her. How in the beginning she is travelling so reluctantly, she looks as though she has just gotten out of a heartbreak and is trying to get away from it all. She almost looks lost and sad. As the song progresses, she seems to start getting enchanted and possessed by the beauty of the places she is travelling to, and spending time by herself. She slowly starts to find peace, and even a little bit of the spark of joy. Its almost like if you give yourself a chance to be alone, get to know yourself you would start to fall in love with yourself and life all over again. You just have to give it a chance.

There's There's few comments saying g this song is toxic or creepy, but it's totally true. This is how dating worked for all of human history until about 10 or 20 years ago. A man would approach a woman, and she'd have to take a chance on a stranger and love devolope. It doesn't just suddenly exist. You have to accept a stranger as your friend. I dont think it increases the odds of getting raped, in fact the opposite, I thi k rapists occur from desperation, which wouldn't happen as often if people would accept them as their friend. It still would but people are just looking to be accepted and loved. Being rejected relentlessly and mercilessly, usually in fairly insulting ways is what culminates in evil developing within people.

If you boil it down to the simple "A man would approach a woman, and she'd have to take a chance on a stranger and love devolope", yes, this is how it worked and often _still_ works. But this song includes a lot of steps of "rejected advances" and _removal of agency of the other person_ ("I won't let you/Let me down/So easily"). Being rejected relentlessly and mercilessly absolutely sucks (ask me how I know!) but letting that make you "evil" is just as much removal of agency: it's saying that I'll let the opinions of others dictate my own behaviour and character. Which is a pretty shitty way to live.

Have you heard the song, the Spirit of Radio by the band Rush? Yeah, a lot of people don't believe in the spirit of gravity either. Be careful you might fall in. And that made me think of the Inner Path of Sufi Islam and Carl Jung.
