I wish these scenarios would contain proper objectives or triggers to show you that you won. Alot of the times I don't know if I won or if theres still enemy out there. Its really good that they prioritized this on release. The saves are desperately needed though. Reminds me of the old days leaving my PS1 on all day to play some games 😅

There’s a few great mods that have already came out. It might be worth looking into! Some things like NTU are a little OP but great if you want to run 1983+ missions. The most useful ones in my opinion are the white sands mod and the carrier elevator fixes. Both mods are under constant near daily updates. People are also now working on some custom assets. If you haven’t gotten the game yet it’s 100% worth it especially with the active scenario and mod community.

This is very useful information. But if you have created a scenario and made mistakes, or just want to update it, change certain items, or even delete it, how do you do that?

You go to the “scenario tab” Then you click “load” A tab will pop up and you will see all your created missions. Click on the one you would like to change/update. The mission will load and you can make edits as you see fit.

Is it possible in the Mission Editor to change the loadout of the flight-deck according to the time-period? I wanted to make a 1960's Vietnam mission, but the inventory of the carrier of the Kitty-Hawk class still gave me F-14 Tomcats so that's not very realistic... Bedankt alvast, Regards, Zeredbaronn.

Is there a way to customize the carrier air wing on a given carrier ? For example if i wanna remove all the A7's and replace them by a squadron of f14's so that the carrier has more f14's ... It's good for when your scenario advances in the years and you want to modernize your airwings.

when you place an airbase is there anyway to choose which aircraft and how many there are or is it just stuck at its base amount because I couldn't find a way to change it

Can I make a trigger to change some taskforce's direction/speed? For example if a submarine destroys one vessel, all other ships begin active searching/maneuvers/etc.

The AI doesn't know how to launch aircraft yet. Devs are working on it

@@Howard-j6e Yes it's for scenarios too. The only thing carriers seem to launch is AWACS. The rest of the aircraft you see are added in as aircraft in the mission editor, not as part of the airwing of the carriers or airfields.

I have a scenario made that is loosely based on an incident which could have happened when I was station in Pearl. The problem I have is how does one upload to Steam if one uses a different browser. I do not use Microsoft. The browser that Steam is on is Firefox. How do I do this? I am not tech savvy.

I have a problem. When I use the trigger to change a unit to another side it looses all other orders. Like a waypoint. They just circle now in the trigger area... how can I fix that?

Need more detail since theres absolutely no explanation to many things, for ecample unit action or whether minimum units 0 means all or none. Also, did you manage to get minimum unit number to apply for unit classified condition instead of just for units destroyed or unit enters area

Is there a way to make a random unit of a set list or a type vs just a flat % spawn chance? Say I want a NATO sub, but make it randomize from a list. So the mission will always have a sub, just the class changes. Or give the player 3 frigates of any type, or 3 of X,Y, and Z type(s).

Don't think you can do that in the editor. Would be a fun feature. Closest you could come is add all 3 subs you want (for example) and give them a 33% chance. Means you might end up with 0 subs sometimes, 3 subs if you get lucky

My Problem is that in my missions the Subs never get spawned at least i never see them and sometime the ships can not move this near the coastal areas, i guess this is due to dept problems?

That's strange. Have you tried moving them to deeper water to verify that the depth is the issue?

Carriers and airbases don't have the proper AI implemented. They don't do much sadly. Hoping that'll get fixed soon

@@TheBelrick yup I Know, but I wanna know if the AI carriers or airbases Interact with the enemy side units? for example if the AI carrier detects an enemy ship will launch an ASuW Wing and if it's a sub it will send an ASW ..... but Stealth17 already answered thanks buddy, i hope they add some complicated mechanics in the future cuz the game is really promising

How good or bad the weather is. Higher sea state = worse weather. Especially important when trying to find (or staying hidden as) submarines.

This game is not completed, full of bugs and lack of ai... the oppenonent does not attack you on most scenarios... oh yes it is early access for some money. but still joyfull like playing dart :))
