Thank you! They're great machines when they run, we use to have a 94 spx years ago. However I'll be dropping a videe today in regards to my gsx... 😬

Hey, I need some help too. I took my 97 gsx out that I bought as a fixer upper and it took a lot of water in, the water level was over the shaft. So I took it home and now I noticed that an o-ring is out and the metal flange in front of the carbon ring is sliding around. Do you know where the o ring would go? And how can I get the flange tight? is there a clip that’s supposed to hold it in?

The hose clamp closest to the motor will cause balance problem “vibration”

In currently working on mine and I’m unable to remove the jet drive. Feels like it’s stuck. I removed the 4 nuts already but is there anything else I have to to or you just have to man handle the jet drive to remove it? Feel like something is stuck. Came out like an inch already

I installed a new carbon ring. The new carbon ring leaks between the new carbon ring and the stainless ring. Should I run the ring dry to get a finer seal?

Did you change the boot aswell? because that could be your issue with it not pressing against the ring tight enough to seal it.

That is the seal fr the drive shaft going out to the impeller.

Nothing like doing the job twice! How did it work out?

Seemed to help for that specific part! But there ended up being a leak from where the speedo wire comes through the hull. 🤦‍♂️

Hey so how much did u get your jetskis for? Have you already put more money than they cost for parts?

The Yamaha was fairly low prices since it has almost 470hrs but the haven't put to much into it. The Sea-Doo was given up on by someone else so I got that one for pretty much nothing. Parts wise it's up there because I've redone almost everything on it but not in the hole at all with it.

it looks like u open your piston head. I did the same on mine but i don't know the torque per pond to put it back together . Do you know ?

You failed to go thru the most difficult part--compressing boot and moving stainless steel ring over c-clamps. Fast forward editing useless!

Worst design Seadoo ever made. Horrendous. Many problems with newer models.
