You're welcome. It is really nice and WAAAAAY better than the older model. Much sharper.

This one is double-glazed, supports underwater replacement, we also have an adapter ring,

Nice review.. Does it dome have a AR Coating , have you tried shooting while facing the sun?

It does but a weak one. Against the Sun it creates a horrible flare and the image gets blurry and foggy. Don't do it. Better to use glass domes for that. ;)

No. If any, it would be less vignetting. :) But no there aren't any.

@@davidleong7845 yes. Years ago I had it and I was disappointed with it. Bad optics quality, lits of distortion because it is too small, therefore close, and the lens did not focus into the sphere plane correctly, very weak and soft acrylic... The v2 is way better in all these points.

@@Histogramas okay.. Was going through their information.. It seems both 01 and 02 has a x7 magnification.. Shouldn't the 02, which is a bigger dome, provide a wider angle view?

@@davidleong7845 not really. Its bigger yes, but also farther from the lens center so, like concentric spheres they provide the same magnification. The image in the sphere plane is bigger... but because its farther from the center... it actually repesents the same at the sensor plane. Made sense?

Hello. There aren't. At least in mine there aren't. There are three marks, in an equilateric triangle disposition that could correspond to the factory making apparatus that make these... like some things that were supporting that ABS part while it was being created... but that is just over the back part that covers the rotational ring that protects the back...
