There have been multiple people who said they either didn't see it at all or that Gene had embellished the story, I'm no Steven fan but Gene is known for exaggerating his stories and there isn't a single person other than Gene who has claimed to have actually seen this happen, one guy said he said them go to the ground briefly and then get up almost immediately.

Segal really did get too big for his britches, literally and figuratively. One might think, hey, if he had just stuck to making ridiculous films, and never spoke like he was an authority on anything, he wouldn't be AS MUCH of a punchline? Maybe. Professional courtesy and respect goes a long way. Where to begin? The people he talks smack about are more respected than he is. And the projection, talking about anyone selling themselves as this grandmaster, when year after year, he becomes more of a joke, it's just incredible. As a kid, who grew up in the late 80's and 90's, when Segal hit, he was thought of as an emerging superstar. And if you were a kid that studied martial arts, he was of course mentioned, often. It's funny how it turned out. Most all of the martial arts icons, from back in the day are still revered and respected, from Don "The Dragon", to Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. Meanwhile, we all laugh, and Segal's flailing and inflated ego.

This was way before he became a movie star. You're also spreading lies once again if you're trying to act like Gene Lebell choked out Seagal and claiming he "pooped" himself. What's your agenda? Why do you spread falsehoods? I get that Seagal was a "bully" to some people, but that has nothing to do with his real martial accomplishments. He was legitimately known as "Take Shigemichi" in Japan and trained with world class Budoka. Not just Aikido, but also Judo, Kyokushin, sword work, and calligraphy with master Seiseke Abe. This is well documented. People are complex and life is not just black and white. Tommy Lee Jones praised Seagal as a "great athlete" in Under Siege. Seagal also praised Bruce Lee many times and he was at Brandon Lee's funeral. Why are you acting like he disrespected Lee? A few more things you conveniently left out: 1.) I've seen Conrad's FULL interview and he WAS there, but approximately 30 feet away from the group, he still saw them. On top of that Conrad has a personal letter SIGNED BY GENE where Gene admits that story is nonsense and he wants nothing to do with it. 2.) Steven Lambert AND Lincoln Simonds both stated on written interviews years ago that no one "pooped their pants". Gene and Seagal both have egos and got a little heated, but no one fought or really got hurt or "choked out". 3.) Gene has lied or exaggerated his tales many times. He's a former pro wrestler and knows how to promote. He used to claim he introduced Bruce Lee to Judo, which was later proven false as Bruce trained in Judo since 1959 with his very first student Jesse Glover, YEARS before he met Gene Lebell. Gene lied also about "sparring Muhammad Ali" (no evidence of this whatsoever).
