Nothing about the new sym kit is NOT mechanically intensive at this point. Her secondary fire requires aim and prediction, and her primary fire requires damn good tracking to even work. Get your head out your ass; she isn't a lock on hero anymore, learn about the changes, play her with an open mind, see her strengths and weaknesses, and adapt or leave. She is a hero that can now use abilities for her own personal use, or to help the team out, which is EXACTLY what most every hero should have. She rewards mechanical skill and coordination. Seagull did great here because he has both.

I'm trying to figure out if this is good because of the utility or just really gimmicky. It looks good cause you are getting to decent positions past chokes really easily. But apart from the tp and the occasional wall dance, sym as a hero seems lackluster in fights. Plus, it requires a lot more comms which is probably the most advanced aspect of the play.

The teleport use is very good; however, there are a lot of times he is holding turrets in the bag, which I don't think is good. I think with the new Symmetra, you always want as many turrets out as possible, as long as they are not going to be somewhere completely pointless. He seemed more focused on his primary fire and teleports, and turrets were an after thought.

OWL and OW Ranked is 2 completely different game at this point. Ranked is honestly so messy, and pretty much a coin toss on which team has less idiots. OWL has been successful thus far only because Blizzard is successful. Blizzard is putting a lot of effort into finding sponsorship for an 'Upcoming Gaming Industry'. In actual truth? Every Stage had seen lesser viewership than the previous stage. This has been true for all 4 stage. Old big name streamers such as DSPStanky, TimTheTatMan has left completely. Several other big OW Streamers are also OWL players, these streamers are also spending so much time scrimming and practicing that most don't even stream often anymore.

Also, yes adapting is a key part to the ever-changing OW Meta, but not everything that Blizzard is shoving down our throat is enjoyable for everyone. If the game isn't enjoyable, the people leave. That is how it is. One good example are Tank Mains. They've been so royally fucked over by the stun meta that they can't even control their hero for half the team fight. The game now has so much damage, that Tanks aren't even 'Tanky' anymore. DPS do crazy high damage, tanks like DVA and Zarya do crazy high damage, Discord and damage boost exist as well. A Rein could die in a second of dropping his shield and supports can do nothing about it. Not to mention Rein seriously need some long overdue fixing on both his Charge and Shatter. 80% of tanks you encounter in Ranked are now Flex players. DPS Mains? Support Mains? We can find them everywhere. Tank Mains? Nearly extinct.
