Geno is only aging in numbers he is a 3rd year starter he has a lot in the tank with all the experience of a 10 yr starter

I don't know what that means. He's an athlete in his mid 30's and had a soft tissue injury last year. Being in your 30's playing in the NFL is being in your 30's. Time catches everybody regardless of live game snaps.

Barry was the King of losing yards looking for the big play as a RB. You could argue he was the best ever. Walker can't tell Walker to give up what he is. A back that will lose yards when he shouldn't but break a big run when he shouldn't. That's who he is. If you want a North South runner fine. Then trade Walker. You start Walker on what he will end up giving you. 100+ yards given the carries and huge runs that break the other teams back. With better OL plays Walker becomes even more dangerous. They block in front holding ground and maybe not opening a hole be allowing him to cut to a different spot instead of having 5 defensive players in the backfield 90% of the time.

Great points gentlemen. There is plenty of reason for optimism. However, there are some warts to be concerned about. I believe we will be OK at inside linebacker. However, I wish depth was better. Fant will be the right tackle. The way his contract was constructed, leads me to believe he will be the guy this season.

I have a feeling half the teams are going to kick it through the end zone. We know Pete wouldn't. A good defense may just give you the 30

What we learned is that offense and defense once fully installed will be good enough to get us a playoff bid

@@byrdboykins8985 nobody knows how the team will adapt to completely new schemes on both sides of the ball….how the new players on offense and defense will blend with the holdovers…and how successful the new schemes especially will compete with the rest of the NFL…..not seeing a playoff bid year one…..third in the division….
