Yea he can’t I agree it’s hard to watch and it’s painful so much the 3 interceptions was horrible Unbelievable that Geno can’t close games it’s probably time for Geno to go ugh 49ers again this is gonna get annoying.☹️

Seattle will never be good because their offensive line is absolutely garbage. They can’t get any push in the run game and they can’t hold up in pass protection. Geno is a pretty good QB. You can blame Geno all you want but most QBs are not going to succeed when facing the amount of pressures that he’s facing. I think you don’t like Geno Smith as a QB and you were ready to dismiss him before he even got a chance and you let that dislike of the guy cloud your judgement. This team sucks because they have a defense that is trash most weeks and the worst offensive line in the league.

Like you point at the 3 interceptions 1st one JSN dropped the ball you say Geno threw the ball too hard. JSN tried to catch the ball with his forearms thats 100% on JSN. 2nd one was a bad decision but he’s also getting hit as he throws. 3rd one the o line got blown up and ran into AJ Barner which caused the interception because he got knocked off his route after the ball was thrown.

Then you say he’s not clutch and dismiss all of his game winning drives 😂 Even in that game against LA he came through in the clutch. Tied the game up with less than a minute to force OT and then drove the team down the field in overtime. Then the o line couldn’t get enough push to get less than a yard on back to back run plays. That right there should tell you how bad this offensive line is.

Smith has had plenty of opportunities He's been the quarterback since 2021 And sure his numbers look pretty but when it matters most he fails

Sorry I can't keep blaming the offensive line Russell Wilson had pretty bad offensive lineman as well and he figured it out

@@rooftopsports Geno Smith is a pocket passer. Russ was a scrambling QB. Obviously the guy who made a career on running around in the backfield for 5-10 seconds to make something happen on a broken play is going to have more success behind a shitty offensive line than a guy who plays from the pocket. Russ also had an elite run game and the best defense in football for most of his Seattle career, Geno has had one of the worst defenses and a mediocre running game for his Seattle career. When you try and blame the team not being good on the QB you’re ignoring the main issues with the team. Replace Geno with anyone outside of the top 5 QBs in the league and the Seahawks would not be any better than they are now.

Geno smith is not the problem, he is a better more accurate pocket passer then Russ ever was, It’s the O-line, and if you disagree then you would have to say that K9 is also the problem because we don’t have a ground game.

K9 is a problem because Ryan Grubb is a pass heavy offensive coordinator

Ensure he has the volume on passing but when it matters most is when he falls apart, just like the overtime against the Rams when he couldn't get the job done
