Hi Sir, greetings from Argentina. As a fan of Seal Team I´d like to let you know: the missing character, Clay Spencer, was accidentally shot to death by an LEO (police officer) during a confusing episode at the end of last season. They are not seeking for revenge. I very much like your content and what you are doing to emprove police officers and military personell. Cheers from NE Patagonia, Argentina.

He was shot by a trigger happy security guard, not a cop.

I’m so glad you’re still doing these cause some movies and shows do have good points that are good reminders but it’s nice to have someone with real world experience talk about what isn’t so accurate. I always noticed Jason NEVER aiming down his sights and it bothers me every time I see him shoot. I don’t know if the actor has something against guns but all the other teammates look so much more comfortable and natural with their tools and Jason who is supposed to be the most experienced always looks a bit uncomfortable or unrealistic

I love this show. It has brought back memories on losing a battle buddy to suicide. To the stuff we go through

I still can't see why Hollywood can have a good big epic tv show or movie also be realistic and authentic. It's not that hard especially when they have real military as technical advisors on the show.

@@Icanw0rkdatgen one I didn't say anything about military tactics but yes they can secondly I'm just referring to the realism of the movie or show.

Jason, thanks for all you're doing my man. The more i watch since i subbed the more impressed I am. My son is a SWAT guy and he said that when they're training the patrol and detective guys it can get scary. He said they are just not even safe, let alone being squared away tactically. He is the only patrolman on our local SWAT team. You are doin God’s work brother. Keep it up. Brad in Louisiana. Also, if you can give me an email i have something I want to send you. Our SWAT guys are pretty squared away.

One thing I 'appreciated' with SEAL Team is they were very open about it not being realistic (because it's a TV show) but to try to make it as 'authentic' as they could for a TV show.

I love the seal team show. My husband was force recon marine way back in the day and it was interesting to watch it with him and the things he has to say about it. These kind of shows also give me a better understanding of things he went through what he did was black ops a little different.

They really tried to put a lot of action scenes on this one since it was the first episode back from when the series could’ve possibly already ended. So it was expected that there’d be a lot of action scenes, however I also didn’t like a lot of what was done. Particularly didn’t like Ray, the CWO running the 3x holo scar, flipping back and forth as a “sniper”. Yes, he’s got the big bore but the engagement distances are at most 200y, like what you said. Those cqbrs are still definitely effective at those ranges and even double those. Heck, they even are still POA=POI at those distances. Meanwhile, new Bravo 2 who’s got the 14.5 urgi with an 1-8 ATACR lpvo goes tip of the spear instead of using his glass as overwatch. I get that they wanted B2 and Jason to work close together to build rapport, but come on, the utilization of team kit was just off in this engagement. Still was a good episode overall though and I’m glad it was renewed for S7. Could still use some work but it already beats almost any show ever aired.

Another unrealistic thing that I noticed that bothers me is how sometimes the reticle don’t match the scopes or sights. If someone is being the “sniper” they’ll give them some random crosshair despite whatever it is that they are using, sometimes they make it so that people with eotech’s have just a dot. Kinda sad cause some of these sights and scopes have such awesome useful reticle. But I guess it helps the audience

Actually this show is the most realistic about of their training and in the beginning, the show has looked to former operators for their real-life experience to make the show as authentic as possible. Not only does the series have former Navy SEALs, in the writer's room, but over 70% of its crew are veterans, and almost the entire stunt team are former special operators. The actor Tyler Gray who plays Trent is a former Delta Force operator and the producer of the series.

I have a question. In the video, the SEAL operators are seen carrying rifles fitted with muzzle suppressors. But in the night scenes, heavy flashes could be seen appearing from the rifles when they are fired (e.g., 09:50). Isn't it a mistake by the filmmakers? How come the rifles emit strong flashes when they have suppressors on them? Doesn't it fail the purpose? Please explain.

I noticed that their suppressors seem to be experiencing "1st round flash" on every shot.

Yeah they lost SO2 Clay Spencer in kind of a Chris Kyle situation back home as he was trying to help a veteran with his PTSD wound up getting killed. It was a major tear jerker of an episode as Clay was undoubtably One of the most if not the most cerebral operators on the team, I don’t believe there was anybody aside from Warrant Officer Raymond Perry that had his level of emotional intelligence and Peak situational awareness as it pertained to the use of initiative-based tactics. His loss was definitely felt in that team’s functional dynamic. 😞

Hello was just wondering when your gonna do a recap on the bear creek arsenal ar? I bought a 223wylde last year and I notice there's a lot of haters of them and coming from someone who's not had any issues with mine it's nice to know someone reputable is speaking on them. I bought mine for under 400 when they where running a special because I knew I wanted one but didn't have the funds to dish out to purchase a rifle costing more. Us po people want ar's too. Thank you for your content and I always seek it, I even go to your page to make sure I'm not missing anything Incase they have shadow banned you.

More training is good; however, I disagree that bad or crooked cops are a result of a lack of training.
