A big shout out to say THANKS to you guys here at Sealcoating is Life. After about 15 years of so-called "specialists" who would rip us off by givung our driveway a quick (thin) spray that looked like crap in 6 months, I did my first DIY sealcoat on our ~7K Sq Ft driveway. Took 40 gallons and some lower back work, but it's thick, uniform, and looks great. We are very pleased. Your videos and tips made all the difference. You guys make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing what you do. Much appreciated.

Good job. We just had this done and the contractor left a lot of raised swirl marks all over the place, raised long line marks from not feathering too and all over the place, and some of the areas don't appear to have uniform coverage with very thin coverage (can see driveway through it in areas b/c not enough tar was brushed into the crevices). the contractor said the raised swirl marks and raised line marks will settle with time, and everything will blend in once driven on. i said i don't believe that is the case and everything should have been feathered out properly and uniformly, there should not be raised tar lines all over place and raised swirl marks either, all crevices should have been filled in. i have not paid for the work yet. am i right to withhold payment until corrected? driveway looks like absolutely crap, and it looked before better the seal coat job. plus 2 cracks were not actually filled, but just coated over and thus they are still open

I mean…. That’s up to you to withhold payment. It all depends on what you agreed on beforehand. If it doesn’t look like what you agreed to, then you should renegotiate.
