This requirement has gotten so out of control that it is now bizarre. Yes, it is great to save energy by sealing every little hole and crack. However, how much energy is consumed in making all those membranes, patches, and tapes?

how about pipes that get hot like wood fire stove pipe? anyone has tips ?
