A separate video from the day I went to Mansheya Nasir, Cairo's Garbage city with Moussa. The last video focused more on the garbage and waste management in garbage city while this video focuses on the other cool aspects like these massive pigeon tours. Gambling on pigeon races is apparently popular in Egypt! These pigeons need a home and someone to take care of them. The pigeon tour owner brought us up his tower and let us see his pigeons in training. Apparently there are pigeon turf wars here in Cairo as they will take each others pigeons and cut their wings off! Egypt is crazy!!

The reason they cut the wings is, it won’t fly and by the time the wings grow back up, the Pigeon will get used to the location! Even if the wings grow back, the pigeon already spent time in the house so it won’t leave.
