She plays like a ship several tiers above where she is placed. She wouldn't be OP at a higher tier, but where she is makes her powerful. I find her to be a very consistent ship to play and get good games in.

It's like 1% chance and the pool is every premium. Now being every premium it means you can pull things like a musashi, but it's also got things like dreadnought in there so the chances of getting a good premium are low unless you already own all the low tier ones.

When you say "hundreds" you probably mean 164. Because the supercontainers have a mechanic that gives you a 100% chance on a ship drop after opening the 165th supercontainer.

Correct. Ceaser was built in 1912. In the 1930's she was gutted with only 30% of her original hull remained, she was entirely rebuilt and modernized.

The reason for the beak armor is that when she was upgraded they lengthened her by welding a new bow over her old one without removing the old armor.

She's not insane these days, but I'd say she is easily the most solid all around BB at T5 to this day. No special gimmicks (besides the front armor beak/plate), just nothing bad about her or a real downside compared to the competition.

I got it for free because my account has been around since beta. It is one my most favorite ships to play, because it's fast, relatively maneuverable and it's guns hit hard. You do have to be careful of showing broadside but her speed and turning radius allows you to pump out broadsides and quickly flip around. A great ship but lazy players suck in her. My only issue with her is the lack of SAP shells. Her Accuracy used to be better but it was nerfed a bit.

Congratulations on getting the GC the best 5.99999999 tier BB out there. The number of Krackens and flat out carries I have pulled in that ship, I have lost count. The best seal clubber in the game. The ship has the ability to make even tier 7 BBs cry.

I remember when she wasn't even released yet. Me and my friend were on enemy team and saw weird Giulio Cesare. We were T7 cruisers. Yorck and Schors. We came across GC alone. Two T7's against unknown T5 BB... We got wrecked so hard. I got double citadelled and deleted from one salvo from bow like nobody's business. 9 days later, GC came for sale, I bought her immediately. She is much stronger than T6 soviet version of her imho.

Furutaka is famous for its ability to AP slap other cruisers in its range while having the best armor scheme of all T5 and even T6 cruisers.

GC is not blatantly OP in any specific department. It's the COMBINATION of all goodies that make her super strong, even when uptiered. - concealment? Check - speed and agility? Check - accurate guns? Check - fast turret traverse? Check - decent AP pen? Check - great HE with British improved pen and high fire chances? Check - relatively decent AA? Check - SPAGHETTI BOWL BEHIND TURRET? CHECK It's funny that the only thing she sucks at is ASW, but that's because WG intentionally gave her garbage range and a single drop, in a pathetic attempt to artificially make her weak in at least one thing. Spoiler: they failed, GC is great even against subs

If you are a good player, you will do well with all ships. Its in a hands of good players that ships like G Cesare really get OP. Combine that with average players you face at tier 5-6 and you will be destroying enemy ships left and right.

My favorite ship, definitely more of a high speed battlecruiser. Very fun to play, as you need to move out of the way of incoming fire, not just sit there like a lump, as many people tend to do. lol

Additionally she is one of the fastest T5 BB (if not the fastest - 27 knt) and has one of the best concealment at the tier

The deal with the Cesare in my experience isn’t that it’s necessarily overpowered, but simply that it’s absurdly balanced: there’s nothing particularly terrible about the ship. It was one of the first premiums I bought with doubloons when I had some saved up; didn’t see the hype at first. The biggest flaw is she isn’t fool proof unlike some of the previous broken, lost premiums. The guns are great, but are small especially when up-tiered. Armour is pretty woeful and even angled you can be spanked for 15k damage if the enemy isn’t your usual T4-5 noob - you’re dealing with 14, 15 and 16 inch guns in this thing and it is TERRIFYING. AA is fair, secondaries above average. If the rest of the ships in the game were like this not many folk would bat an eye, but so many are unnecessarily “balanced” or gimmick reliant that Cesare is branded as broken.

Ironically bought the GC for gold, on sale, and did it on a whim. Did a similar thing with the Imperator Nikolai. Had just started the game, wanted a premium, it was in the store, not expensive, only T4. Thought it being Russian would suck, but would get me some experience.

The ONLY Italian Ship I wanted when I started Playing the Italians, but not because I'd heard it was OP, but because I was New to the Game and wanted a Tier 5 BB... Since I was doing the Italians, it Fit the Bill, the Roma wasn't even a Consideration because it was a Tier 8 and I was Nowhere NEAR Tier 8 yet... They Pulled it before I started, so, it was NEVER gonna be an Option for me and Roma was my Only Choice... Now, I LOVE my Roma, never gonna Regret that Buy, BUT, the Jump to Tier 8 when you're JUST Getting into the Battleships and at Tier's 3 and 4 in the Bulk of your Port it's NOT the Wisest Choice... Two Xmas's later and STILL don't have it, so I'm NOT expecting to ever see it in the Port... All my Containers are Dropping are 30 Days so far and 100 Count Economic Bonuses and I'm getting Thin on Tier 10's in the Port... So, still waiting... lol

In my opinion this is by far the best Italian battleship in the game despite being only a tier 5. It's also one of the reasons why I started to prefer playing with destroyers rather than battleships. I remember playing against it with battleships (or cruisers) of the same level it was practically unmanageable.

about two years ago, a div mate pulled a fast one and dropped in a T7 ship, dragged us into a T8 match. bottom tiered, outranged, outgunned, and GC was still good enough to do 100k. the bismarck was flippin running from me. that is Giulio Cesare in a nutshell

Hey. So i was playing 240 Battle with here Winrate 72,5% Avrg dmg 82k. They changed here a bit with the Dispersion over the time. Weakness of this ship are for sure Cvs. Weak AA. So overall great handling. Gun performenc on this tiere is excellent.

I have this BB and have played over 200 games in her. My win rate is about 54% and damage is over 50,000. I have had Monster games in her and have had games that were terrible based on my play, the enemies play of luck etc. I have played against it a lot and find a tier 5 Koenig, when played properly can hang with it very well. A tier 6 Fuso, again when played well is a nightmare for the Italian. She burns rather easy so an Iron Duke can defeat her also if you angle properly. Arizona From long range can pound her as can Texas. it all depends on how YOU play against it.

"Sunk under mysterious circumstance" if that doesn't say Soviet navy idk what does. The Soviets have a terrible maintenance track record with alot of ships. I suspect engineering probably didn't clean properly and had a fire which spread to all of the dirt and flammable liquids like oil which caused the fire to get out of control and spread to the other compartments through the wire lines eventually causing the ship to burn down. Likely it was covered up by the Kremlin to avoid any bad press. Or the more likely option is that the Soviets just scrapped her for steel to build submarines or surface vessels but didn't want the world to know they scrapped her for secrecy so they just said she "sunk"

it runs against having your credit card attached to your account and how much dubs your shelling out for over time, I have 2 accounts a beta F2p and never got a thing on it, people talked about ooh i got this and that free, i was like really i have never got a thing, so i opened a second account and tied my CreditC to it, i got a free ship out of my first SC and since then its out stripped my original account by a scary amount for SC with ships and dubs, promotions where there are top ships Massachu, i got for 1000 dubs got Rochester free , de grasse free, kaga 888 dubs , and many more to list here, these are dubs that i saved from the play every day calendar or dropped from SC , so not bought dubs but just because i have a CC attached they try to bribe me with lots of trials ships to entice me to spend, and still my original f2p acct is dumped on, flags and low grade consumables. Account profiling at the utmost .

I bring her out every now and then. I don't know if id call her OP but ship fits my play style perfectly. Its a t5 bourgogne very fast and great pen on small cal guns. I probably have 20-25 krakens in her. And twice iv gotten back to back krakens. At 196k 7 kills it has all my t5 records.

The GC will always be OP. It's guns are unmatchable at T5. You absolutely murder cruisers. You don't have the pen to cit BB's at even medium ranges, but you can always chunk them for decent damage. It has no armour but it's amazing speed and maneuverability make up for that. Basically play her like a low tier battlecruiser and you'll probably win lol

The T6 Novorossiysk is a 95% copy with worse AP, lower health, way worse sigma, worse detection, a tiny bit more range, and 1 more flak. Kind of a joke vs the GC. (Also it's not uncommon to face a triple Guilio division where you might as well just call it a day).

The GC with a competent captain is VERY good. Like a lot of ships played well it can look very OP. Played poorly its pretty bad as every BB at tier 5 and up can pen it from every angle.

She was strong, quite strong but never felt it was that over powered compared to several other ships. Being often 'match maker-ed' up to tier 7 usually nullified the ship from my experience.

GC is a real money maker. Also...a real target. Once you get spotted...Red is going to do everything to delete you...or get deleted trying. That said...I still pull 200k credits per match on a bad day...feed the grind.. Tier IV in Legends.

Eh I wouldn’t call the GC an over powered ship. She just happens to be an ok ship with Ok speed ok armor and actually accurate guns.... at a tier where most BBs are only good at 1 thing. So she is strong at tier 5 but not even close to being as strong as let’s say a thunderer or Smolensk or Stalin/petro or Alaska etc etc etc or any other “ strong “ high tier ship
