The gore tex layer is designed to let moisture out the other way. It´s kind of like eating food isn´t it? It goes in one way, not the other.

Isn’t this obvious?? The fleece only part of the glove is not waterproof. No shit??

They should just put a wetsuit membrane inside the glove & would solve the problem

Isn't it supposed to keep water out, not within?

Thats the test they wanted me to do. The gloves let water in and my pair were not even water resistant. When I contacted customer support that is the test they asked me to do.

@@kiwihikingclub7464 I can almost guarantee the customer care team never asked you to fill the glove up with water to check if they're waterproof, bury your head in the sand.

Not bad. I think its enough for cycling in the rain. Is it?
@kiwihikingclub746411 ай бұрын
Depends on how much wind chill there is. Wet gloves are not great when your cycling in cold conditions.

dosnt this get covered by their waterproof guarantee?
@kiwihikingclub7464 Жыл бұрын
Yes which is good - no questions asked. Refund is provided via credit to your Sealskinz account. But if you search for reviews on this glove you will find a lot of people complaining about the fact its not even water resistant. Its the annoyance of buying a rather expensive glove that promises to be a 100% waterproof when more times than not reviews state other wise but Sealskinz still persist in stating 100% waterproof.

So they only leak from there if you taped it there wouldnt they be good?
@kiwihikingclub7464 Жыл бұрын
Nah - the palms have a super absorbent material so even if they didn't leak the material for the palm area soaks up a heap of water and if the weather is cold then your hands freeze. I personally think they are the crappiest gloves I have ever used and the cost is ridiculous and they do leak from other areas of the glove. Search online and you will find loads of people complaining. The thing that annoys me the most is SealSkinz always state the gloves are 100% water proof - thats BS. I have ended up using a 20.00 pair of gardening gloves from a hardware store that are amazing.

@@kiwihikingclub7464 I totally agreed with you. I have a pair of SealSkinz and the palms have a super absorbent material. After a few hours in the rain, they are totally soak

@@robertolicandeo7406 Strange design alright - why would they do that? They are supposed to be waterproof but the design of the glove actually stores water which at some stage would compromise the "100% water proof " fabric - even though the bulk of comments I have seen on forums and ecommerce sites is that are only at best water resistant.
