It is indeed. I had the pleasure of visiting Mannesmann as an apprentice from Scotland away back in the 1970s. It was either in Cologne or Dusseldorf, cant remember exactly where. The video doesn't really show the Pilger process too clearly but 90% of the factory layout was the same as where I worked as a mechanical fitter. Furnace, discharger, pre piercer, elongator, pipe mill, cutting shop, sizing mill, cooling rack, straightening, finishing shop, testing NDT and Hydraulic.
