This creepy and unsettling track made a big impression on me when I first played Secret of Mana on the SNES. Much later I learned that it's based on Balinese music (check out gamelan orchestras on KZbin), and how difficult it must have been to program. I love how diverse and experimental this soundtrack is and I had a blast making this arrangement. Hope you like it!

I'm so used to hearing this as a very digital synthesized track that it's genuinely jarring. This sounds like a brutal climactic fight scene in the style of Tim Burton

Fantastiskt intressant. Slog up "Gamelan Orchestra" och hade inte en aning om att den var inspirerad av den typen av kultur-musik när jag spelade spelet på 90 talet. Musiken har en typ av oroväckande aning samtidigt som det är svårt att sluta lyssna!

Haha, yeah that was my reaction when I played the game. The normal boss theme is kind of crazy as well, but this was…unexpected.
