Peasant sewists with a lot of fabric scraps have nothing better to do than recreate high fashion dresses, like this Oscar de La Renta dress that Taylor Swift wore to the Grammy's 2021. Right?

What else can you do with your free time, other than embroider over 350 flowers and hand stitch them all onto a tulle dress?! It took me around 160 hours to make this.

I don't know if I understood your question right, but I have a pattern block with my measurements and work the proportions based on the pictures I find. Ah, was just thinking yesterday, it's been a while since you posted a video. Then I saw the beginning and the dress you were copying and part of me said, "NO ! Don't do it! It's sheer stuff & buttloads of embroidery!!! And the other half of me said 'It's gorgeous ! You can DO it!!! ' So, I was holding my breath a lot & cheering you on. Am ever so glad that I am not "well endowed" - boobs are a pain ! Loved the screaming cat - 🙀 Perfect. Loved the romantic field shot & the first thing the dog does is ROLL in something! Probably something nasty ! :( It turned out SO beautiful! You should have left your hair down - I am loving your haircut. Nice layering! Looked even better when it got rained on, truly ! More body ! Glad to hear Steve at least! If you ever decide to SELL some embroidered flowers, I'ld buy some! I can see a denim jacket with a few flowers pinned or sewn on ! I like the thought of pinning on so you could "switch it up" a bit or contrast/compliment your outfit.
