Interestingly enough, S2 was only supposed to be 10 episodes before they were told they could add two more. So they decided to shoot two episodes that wouldn’t mess up the plot at all. Guess what those two were? The Christmas episode and Beard After Hours.

I know two episodes of season 2 are filler episode but I do NOT want people skipping the Christmas special since it's when Nate gifts Ted a picture of them, a very important memorabilia in Nate's descent into madness and extensively, the final big conflict scene. Beard's is totally skippable though, but it has Thierry Henry so why would you want to skip that

Loved this. You seem to love Ted Lasso as much as I do. Bill Lawrence who made Ted Lasso now and Scrubs all them years back that ive loved since it was on chanel 4 as a kid coming home form school or when I was off sick, he's just made a new apple show called Shrinking, im sure youve seen it or atleast trailer with Harrison Ford and Jason Segal, its quite similar to season 2 because Shrinking is another emotional comedy and its about therapist but the therapy is done in a slightly better way because it isnt all daddy issues, I know the therapy in season 2 wasnt just daddy issues and had very enjoyable scenes. It is very good and id recomend it. (Edit) If you do or have watched Shrinking, I would love a video like this on it with predictions for future seasons. Personally I have some random ass theorys and I dont know who is or even if there is things like love interests or goals for any of the characters.

its cool to hear your thoughts but this video has some slightly strange takes. mostly on the nate and also the tedbecca fronts. firstly with nate- he doesnt really want to be liked, he wants to be respected. hes been bullied and undermined his whole life and desperately wants some respect and some power- if he wanted to be liked, he wouldnt have had the same power grabbing villain arc that he has. i agree with you on not hating nate though, and i think hes definitely going to have a redemption arc this season! with tedbecca, i just cant see it happening at all. you said that its cliche/what people expect bcs their the main man and main woman of the show and this is part of the reason why its probs not going to happen- this show tends not to go for cliches and half the show is literally about characters not acting like people expect them too. also the sassy thing, although i wouldnt call ted and sassys relationship romantic (it seems to be purely sexual...) sassy is literally rebeccas best friend and it would go against girl code or something for rebecca to get with ted. as well as that there have been multiple interviews where hannah waddingham has said that ted and rebeccas relationship is important representation of platonic relationships between men and women. and if they got together one of them would have to leave the club bcs rebecca is teds boss (in an even more direct sense than her being sams boss). those are just my thoughts! was interesting to hear what you thought about all the characters :)

I watched the whole of season 2 today and Nate is so out of line Ted never neglected him at all he was there just the same as season 1

I feel you here, legitimately. I understand he's triggered by perceived slights and perceived neglect and ... I had a similar thing with a highschool bestie. Her family was neglectful and I was consistently there for her, but I left for uni and it took three years of small conflicts for a real conversation to come up about how because I showed up for her consistently and family didn't she felt safe to let her anger out at me due to being secure in our friendship so when she was angry at her family she would project and tell me I was failing her and voicing anger at me. Once she started communicating more clearly with her family when they upset her she stopped throwing tantrums at me. And all through season 2 with Nate I just felt a lot of those markers and saw a lot of those moments. Adults are responsible for figuring out when they are projecting. One of my go to questions whenever anyone is upset with me or vice versa, I pause the talk and say, "Before we continue, how old do you feel right now?" And when people and I discuss what age and what coping skills we feel we have we can usually determine that neither tried to hurt the other and it was a trigger. Pause, regulate our nervous systems, come back to it. Nate majorly needs to do the personal work in that regard.
