No effect or pedal, just using the middle position on my pickup selector. That position is the two outside coils of the bridge and neck humbucker. So the one closest to the bridge and one closest to the neck

That is a ridiculous comment... All those players are specifically known for their taste which accompanies their sheer technical abilities. They all have an incredible amount of taste, just as Sean Ashe clearly does, but if you weren't an incredible waste of my time I would cite a passage by every one of those musicians which is more tasteful than that. Btw Sean, love your material and if someone said this about any one of these other guitarists I would find a passage of yours which is more tasteful 😉
