For sure. Can you imagine being in jail or prison and already feeling so frustrated, depressed and angry. Then on top of that having to undergo a naked body search on your way to and from court every day? And you have to sit there all day waiting for other prisoners court cases to be finished. With diddy's violent tendencies, one of these days he's going to go off on the CO who is searching him. Plus no more drugs -- whatever drugs he wanted. He's going to be miserable.

I live in a small one bedroom apartment in a low income housing project. My computer is outdated and keeps having to restart and my tv has a screen that is a tad faded and I drive an old used car that does not work perfectly and my bed does not even have a backboard and I have to press it tightly against the wall to prevent the pillow from getting lost down the back and I get by off of SSDI and a part time job at a grocery store. Now compared to this multimillionaire I am the one living a life of luxury. Compared to his prison experience my life is ROYALTY.

As an ex inmate ,you are on a steel bunk with a worn out knotted mat ,in a concrete cage,your sense are confused because everything is so white,loud,lots of noises . Guards have 1 perspective but it's not the inmates perspective. Is he scared? You dang right he is scared. Their are other inmates who would love to take him out. He is in what we call scared azz custody (pc) protective custody. The food is cold,hard,dry,nasty,bland etc... He is in world of hurt. If he was a smoker or addicted to anything his body is hurting ,every nerve is ringing. Diddy is screwed. Would he do something to himself oh yeah once he starts going to court and his attorney starts telling him he's in trouble, you just never know about a man in that situation. I found purpose in there now I've been out for 8 years and have done good but I did over 10 years in there I was in a craft shop I work in a furniture factory but those first 6 months was a living hell. But did he don't know if it's daytime nighttime unless there's a window somewhere and all he sees is different guards a new face constantly once your senses get cleaned out you can tell when a female is on the wing you can smell a female from a long ways away the different perfume . I was on a unit where I could see out on a walkway and I could tell you that there was nurses fixing to come they would be walking outside 50 ft away and I could smell them in my cell , it's crazy how clean your system can get in there and how certain senses come back if you were a smoker. But you are right he has no control He's got to have a piece of paper to go somewhere He's got a told when to move Don't talk get your azz naked, so his life of luxury and all that he had and all the control is completely over so abruptly his head is still spinning. And if your toilet is the stainless steel type every time you flush your butt cheeks get cold😂

I wasn't in prison, but 49 days in county was enough to never want to stray from the wrong side of the law. During my time, we had a pedo come in before just before 6pm dinner and by the time they opened the cells to let us out word spread to the other inmates and the COs had to move him to solitary confinement. If Diddy does go to prison, I give him a year before he's Dahmered!

I've known people in the system. One thing that they 100% all have in common is they all hated being in prison. In prison, they tell you when to eat, when to sleep, when to wake up, when to go here, when to go there and when to come back. Imagine being required to ask permission to use the bathroom for the next 20 years, when you're not in your cell. How horrible that would be. I would rather be a homeless man on the streets without a pot to piss in than to spend just one year of my life in prison. Let alone 10 or 20 years in prison. I'm not even thinking about life in prison when I made this statement. Life in prison would be an unimaginable nightmare and so terrifying. Because you wouldn't have a future. And even if you do get out, you've been condemned as a convicted felon for the rest of your days. Absolutely not worth it!

I dealt with inmates for years as a mental health therapist. People commit crimes for various reasons. The first is impulse. This is where someone does not first think about what they are about to do and impulsively acts. The second is that they think that are smart enough to get away with some criminal act. Unfortunately, criminals do in fact commit crimes and do not get caught. They can commit multiple crimes and never get caught. The third, is not knowing what it is like to be incarcerated. Looking at what a jail is like based on some TV show is not realistic. The fourth, which is the most difficult for people to understand is the career criminal.These are people just commit crime after crime, go to jail, get out commit more crimes. Jail/prison is just a bump in the road. For them, it is a lifestyle. The fifth is being a drug addict who commits crimes to get drug money.

I volunteered at a soup kitchen, met a lot of homeless. They had my respect and in turn, I had theirs. As you said about winter, 3 hots and a cot. I can tell by the way you speak that you were good at your job and that you had the respect of the inmates. As so many have said, you need to be in schools, talking teens out of places like this.

Years ago I got a major ticket (traffic). Luckily I was allowed to go to traffic school to keep my insurance from being informed. I was poor at the time so the traffic court judge made me work off my fine by working in a soup kitchen for a while. It was actually a great experience and as a tradeoff I got some free food. One of the benefits of working there, even if it was a punishment was a free lunch!
