Fear is used to keep those women or victims in an invisible prison. You are threatened with death, to be hunted down and found even if you leave, your family or pets are threatened.... You are not in the right frame of mind to be able to leave due to the overwhelming fear. And it isn't just empty threats. A lot of women are actually murdered after they leave. In addition you may be financially unable to leave because the abusive partner controls and limits all of your resources. It is like being in prison in your own home.

It's the same for the people that have to go through CP. It's a hard job, but they are taken care of. Still not a job I think I could do.

He told me the entire office has put in claims for PTSD, not because it’s debilitating now but when he gets out in the future he wants to have psychological counseling available thru the VA to help him with those memories. He also had to defend that for 2 years and rehearse the confessions for plea deals - told me it’s very hard. CP, DV, and even one case involving an animal. 🥹

They are going to try to use her settlement of the civil law suit as proof that she is money hungry, but it was the only way that she could bring attention to what happened to her to law enforcement and I hope she heals from this trauma fully and is able to live without the fear of retaliation by him. The fact he’s been denied bail twice even after willing to put up 50m dollars goes to show that there is a mountain of evidence, and nobody is willing to play ball with Diddy anymore.
