I would to see you do a video on John Stanier. He was the original drummer for Helmet, he played with Mr. Bungle, Tamahawk, and currently the band Battles. Dude was a huge influence on me when I was a teenager learning to play.

AiC is one of my favorite bands of all time, and as a guitar player i was super into Jerry Cantrell....BUT, i remember having just as many drum fills stuck in my head as guitar riffs when i first discovered the band and wore out my CDs....yes, i still had CDs when i found AiC. Favorite drum parts - No Excuses - that drum intro is iconic and immediately identifies the song. Would - Does the song hit as big without that driving, verse drum part? Ya know...i just want to list every song on Dirt and Jar of Flies....plus Man in a Box....plus...oh geez....its probably easier to list the ones that arent memorable....but i cant remember them. Hes just a great choice for your video series!

Every time I’m talking music with a friend I’ll say, “yeah, you know who’s a badass drummer, Sean Kenney”. It’s always, “who’s Sean Kenney”, they agree after because AIC is obviously the shit. For me, his beats are something that always stood out. It’s like people only hear guitar. The whole band brought a high level of creativity with them. AIC should be mentioned when talking about the all time greats. 🤘
