Saw him live twice. One of those was when he was trying out material in a pub in Kentish town, north London, ahead of a big venue tour. He trialled the joke about rollups being practically a salad. The gig was in front of no more than 30 people. I went downstairs for a pee in the break as he came up, and he gave a little pleasant "alright?" nod. He had a ciggie and a pint outside afterwards and chatted with a little group of three or four. My impression is of a lovely and kind man, who was also ridiculously funny.

What an absolute comedic genius Sean Lock was. He has been one of my KZbin 'Go-To' comedians for literally 'years'. I was actually looking up, watching and laughing at a few of his videos the day before his passing was announced. In fact, when I seen the video title that Sean Lock had died at first I thought it was just another one of his amazingly funny quips. It Knocked me sideways when I realised the headline was true. The world has unquestionably lost one of the most naturally funny, gifted guys Ever to tread the comedy boards. :( *R.I.P Sean*

Peter Wright, I highly recommend you read Jack Dees autobiography if you're a fan! I can't remember the title but I doubt it'll be hard to find. I read it some years ago so it's not that fresh in my memory but it was a rare occasion of a book making me laugh out loud. There were some really funny and interesting anecdotes about working in a prosthetic limb factory if I remember correctly.
