@Sam H: i have believed in God since I was a child, and I am now 52 and my life is bad, could be worse of course but God is not transforming my life, He is allowing many things that have devastated me- so I am not sure my life will ever be “transformed.” Been trying to @ let Him in” yet He is silent.

We as Christian’s are supposed to be a reflection of Jesus. To be the light of this dark world. The more we live out the scriptures the more light will shine. We can’t give up, Jesus is coming soon!!

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance." This is simply the way to be taught all things, to replace the false ideas of the prodigal son with God's truth. Ask and you shall receive. Those who have ears, let them hear.

A Biblical worldview, yes. A Love for the Creator and turning away from sin. Apply the Word to every decision but not to the point of a love for the creation, such as Green New Deal, New World Order.

Godly perspective instead of worldly perspective. We believers are not without sin but through the Holy Spirit we are sensitive to His voice and His leading in all our decisions big and small and when we sin, we are quick to confess and repent without excuses or rationalization.

He wasn’t referring to Himself in that verse in John 15:13. He was saying that’s the best man can do (and even that’s rare). Jesus didn’t just die for His friends, He died for His enemies, using the greatest act of evil ever committed by men in crucifying the Son of God, to be the very means by which He blesses them with every blessing, even asking His Father for their forgiveness as they were crucifying Him. That’s Love beyond man’s comprehension.

Separating secular from sacred is a very damaging way of thinking. It was illustrated in the example of the engineers that had not thought of applying their faith to their jobs. Most of the major scientific and technological breakthroughs we enjoy today, came through people applying their faith to their world. Also remember that the bible is not intended to lead us into truth, the Spirit of God is. The Spirit of God can influence what cereal one may eat, where the bible cannot. If we allow the love of God to flow out of us like rivers of living water, we will automatically live in accordance with the will and kingdom of God. Quite simply, not necessarily easy.

You totally missed the point. They were talking about looking out for Biblical lessons in the world.. Even a non Biblical event can be used to portray a lesson of good and evil as told in scripture. The Bible is against denominational division in the true church. You're a born again Christ follower or not.

You don’t need a “world view “. *The vacuum energy of space or dark energy is the result of space time being dragged into all of the supermassive black holes.* There is nothing more massive or more powerful than supermassive black holes scattered throughout the universe. The earth isn’t flat and neither is the universe flat in regard to the rate of time or the measure of distance. This is a big deal because there is no single rate of the passing of time and there is no single measure of distance in the universe. Billions of years can pass by in between galaxies while mere thousands of years pass by where we are near a supermassive black hole besides the fact that distance is also expanded in between galaxies causing redshift and it means that the distances aren’t as far mathematically as some scientists believe. They make the novice mistake of projecting our rate of time and our measure of distance onto the rest of the universe and you can’t do that. Acceleration slows down time near a gravitational well. Gravity is everywhere except between gravitational wells in deep outer space there is much less acceleration to slow down time. It means time is accelerated to a very fast pace in deep outer space between gravitational wells where there is much less acceleration. Instead of invoking magical dark matter particles and imaginary inflatons to cause dark energy, do some thought experiments in *general relativity* and you will understand that the rate of time and the measure of distance are relative to the amount of matter and mass there is in the vicinity. The speed of light C that we observe in outer space *across vast distances* literally depends on these two *variables* of time and distance. Distances within the galaxies are vast so when we observe another galaxy, it’s not like observing a cat or cow. We are literally observing vastly differing rates of time and differing measures of distance occurring simultaneously, still within the limits (inside) of galaxies, not to mention the *extreme* distances outside *between* galaxies where there is much much less “acceleration” which ironically accelerates the passing of time and expands the measure of distance. The result is that we are seeing differing speeds of light relative to our location since our observation *spans great distances* from galaxy to galaxy since the measures of time and distance are both dependent on the amount of matter (mass) and gravity there is in the vicinity. (The speed of light isn’t actually changing, the measures of time and distance are changing *which effectively changes the speed of light as we observe it spanning GREAT distances.)* That’s what causes gravitational lensing too. The result is that distance is greatly expanded *(NOT* expanding) where there is no matter between us and distant galaxies *(causing* redshift) eliminating the need for imaginary dark energy “inflatons”. *Dark energy then is from the tug of war of space time being stretched and dragged into all of the black holes around the universe.* Additionally the movement of the outer spiral arms at the edges of galaxies are at a faster rate of time and a larger (expanded) measure of distance causing them to move faster as we observe them from our slower rate of time and smaller measure of distance eliminating the need for dark matter. This also means that plasma jets shooting out from the centers of a galaxies are *NOT* moving seven times the speed of light. It’s that the distance is more expanded AND the rate of time is faster the less *matter and mass* there is in the vicinity. There is no such thing as a nonsensical infinitely expanding universe faster than the speed of light from imaginary inflatons and there is no such thing as magical invisible dark matter to coalesce hydrogen into being stars and galaxies. The formation of galaxies is unrelated to what we now observe. Distance is *merely* greatly expanded between the black holes literally dilating stretching space time (causing the redshift) so the universe is not infinitely expanding as is believed and claimed. Not only is distance greatly expanded everywhere there is no matter between galaxies, time runs at a much faster rate where there is also much less acceleration. *Both the expansion of distance and the increased rate of time have to be taken into account when doing calculations.* *It’s what allows for us to see fully formed distant galaxies in the infrared spectrum in our short timeframe in the first place.*
