Among the many things I love about McVay is the way he engages the interviewer. Obviously Chris - one of my favorite Rams - knows football,, but how many NFL coaches have you ever seen shift the attention away from themselves and ask the interviewed for his opinions and stories? His genuine curiosity and humbleness are part of what make him a great HC. Been a Ram fan since 1973, and McVay is so far superior to anyone who has coached this team, not just in my time, but ever. Vermeil was great, but I don’t know how he would have dealt with having his staff raided every year - 5 head coaches and countless other assistants have left the Rams in 7 seasons. McVay uses it as an opportunity to find different voices that bring new knowledge to his staff. I will never take this guy for granted. Hope he is the last coach the Rams have in my lifetime.

The lions better send Mcvay flowers every single day for building that lions foundation for many years to come. He is the reason the lions are a threat with all those high draft picks for Stafford and then giving them an awesome QB. That was so unselfish of McVay as he could of had a dynasty with Goff and having those high draft picks

@@sreinert6685 don’t do drugs my ass there’s nothing but truth in this statement. Where was brad Holmes found? From the rams front office, he was a scout for the rams from 2003-2012 then he became a director of college scouting from 2013 -2020 for the rams. Meaning he was groomed under Les Snead until he became the lions gm. The rams traded for stafford and gave up multiple picks in the process. Those picks rebuilt the lions roster. So like I said there is nothing but truth in this statement
