Man who would have that thought in the years we were at the bottom, cycling through drafts and not getting out of the bottom 10. Old fans that have been through it, appreciate where we are now. Kronke, McVay and Snead and the whole Rams culture and organization is winning, humble, fun and great to watch - even in the off season when they are making moves. From the first game McVay came out with that beating of the Colts to this "rebuild year" of 10-7. Wow. I also love that there are St Louis Ram fans that have stuck with the team. True Rams fans have supported the team even when they moved so its great to have Ramily in St Louis. Go Rams!

​@@florida1289I'm a Lions fan but arm talent wise Goff will never be able to do some of the things Stafford does and that's not a knock on Goff I just think Staffords arm talent alone is second to none. I do think Goffs decision making at his age is better than what Staffords was at the same age for sure though. As far as arm strength, arm angles, and the way he manipulates defenses with his eyes is just something I don't see Goff ever reciprocating.

Always disappointing to fall just short when you have a chance to go all the way. But next year with cap space, Rams can go all in. They exceeded this year and have discovered some really great young talent that they can build a dynasty with. Go Rams. McVay and the Rams have been building a dynasty and they have a lot more winning seasons ahead. They are great to watch. Happy for Goff and hope Detroit goes all the way and lifts the city. As a Lions fan not that it would take the sting of the loss away any- but I don’t know if Rams fans fathom how desperate our fanbase was to win this game. Most Lions fans rooted for Stafford to win that Super Bowl a couple years back, but given the immediate success Stafford had in LA and the overwhelming negative media Goff had for a long time following that trade- Detroit was literally praying to have Goff beat Stafford and McVay in this one

Yeah we got away with at least a couple missed Pass Interference calls, but McNeill and Hutch were getting held at multiple times by the O-Line; also what was the deal with the Rams player with the Neutral zone infraction and they somehow called Decker for the false start? Similar with us complaining about the end of the Cowboys game botched by the refs, but I recall at least 2 pass interference calls we got away with in that game too... It'd be a beautiful thing if the refs didn't miss calls, much is the polarity of football...

Tough way to lose but to lose by 1 and show that we basically had a chance to win it says a lot of a team that no one thought anything of 3-6. 7-1 to end the season and lost by 1 on the road to a higher seeded team playing its tail off. Next year is going to be lit, filling our positional needs and with the experience from this year plus a stacked draft pick arsenal. Super Bowl run written all over it

Great turn around at the halfway point in the season. Incredible. This game was close throughout and played well on both sides. Matt Stafford played out of his mind. We had chances and just fell short. Puka is the diamond in the rough this year but many new ones showed up and made this team from last place to almost able to win the division by years end. I am a Rams fan from age 9 almost 50 years now, and so great to see my Rams completing better than ever.

Tough loss for the Rams that was a great game but the 2nd half timeouts were poorly mismanaged by Mcvay and Stafford. Also, the inability to execute in the Red Zone in the 2nd half ultimately hurt the Rams. Goff was very impressive in the 1st half but the Rams should’ve been much more aggressive in their blitz schemes. Matthew was terrific he’s a true winner hope the Rams make another deep playoff run next season:

Well i'm proud of my Rams. Been a fan since Deacon jones, ( the original sackmaster) and Merlon Olsen, , of the Fiersome foursome. This team fought as hard this year as I have ever seen a Rams team fight. I saw a couple of clesr pi's tonight that weren't called. I also saw Stafford get hit twice after he released the ball then get stepped on, But he came right back, the mark of a champion. We held them to 3 points in the second half after getting run over in the first. Props to AD and Rahim. Great bounce back this season by McVay. That being said, next year you gotta expect big things from this team and to start that Rams fans SHOULD PRAY Raheem gets a HC job because they aren't going to let him go unless he gets one. He does nothing to impress me outside bringing 5 with Ernest. Soft defense and yet still gives up big plays. That 3rd and 15 is the perfect example of how bad he is as a DC. Draft an outside pass rusher and some better corners and bring back Ejiro Evero as DC if, hopefully, Raheem gets a HC job. This offense is set up to be elite next year for sure.

Lions got away with a lot of penalties, but what can we say, it's the NFL making it up to the Lions. Give Lions credit they played as if they wanted more. With just over three minutes left. I believe Rams should had gone for it instead on fourth down. They never got to take the field again. Raheem Morris game plan was garbage.! Never have I as a Rams fan been sold on him as a defense coordinator. Maybe he should go back to offense, might fit him better. The only people on the field more protected than qbs are the refs. This whole thing where players and coaches live in fear of talking about a terrible call in fear of getting fined is ridiculous. They, more than anyone, understand how fast the game is, and how challenging it can be to make the right calls, but when it comes to these egregiously bad calls or non-calls they should absolutely be able to speak to it. At the very very least maybe the media should stop trying to trap them with these questions.

The loss was nailed in the first quarter when 4 downs at the Lions 6 yard line, McVay did not have faith in the O-Line... not 1 run play... I remarked at that time Rams just lost this game, and the run game is not gonna be used enough... even though 3 full quarters were left to play.

He choked on the redzone, terrible playcalling. The no call hold on puka was the end. Refs helping out lions after that cowgirrls debacle. Fan of neither teams, NFL and refs want a clear storyline this year.

Michael Hoecht was star in the 2nd half. The Rams defense changed in the 2nd half because they started rushing the QB with Michael Hoecht.

Hoecht should always be rushing the passer. Raheem is moron for putting him in coverage at all. When the announcers brought up how he's in coverage more than any other OLB it proved how dumb Raheem is.

As a lions fan, this is very classy from mcvay. A lot of respect for him and the rams. It was a great game. I thought Campbell took a risk on that 4th and goal (like he normally does) and it turned out to be the difference.

It's almost like the rams were just being nice guys at the end letting the lions wins instead of upsetting the city. Clearly in the 2nd half the rams were the more dominant team moving the ball easily on offense with big plays while the lions struggled to do much in the 2nd half.
