I think Merab is getting cracked and sat down early. Though people are underestimating Sean's grappling which I think will be Merab's downfall. Sean is pretty good at jiu-jitsu, and I think he will cause Merab a lot of issues down there. Sean has more submission threats than Merab does. Merab makes a lot of mistakes. Merab ONLY throws a looping overhand right so he can sneak his right foot behind your left leg, hook it, hug your waist and lean into you to get a takedown. That is literally the extent of his striking ability. He does a labored and forced head dip to fake a level change right before all this but that’s it. The things that preclude this type of style is distance management and angling off and being able to fight from backwards and off angles. Sean does all three of those. I think Sean will absolutely find Merab’s chin and I think Merab has a tough chin. If it goes the distance, I see Merab having a busted up face and winning a split decision and if Sean wins, I see it being a KO in Round 3-4.
