I'm from the US, but I lived in Ontario from 2006 to 2014. Every time I thought I met another person from Canada on vacation, it always turned out to be an American, with the exception of Havana. Every one of them... Canadian flag on their backpacks, shirts, purses, hats, etc... all Americans. I get it, you don't want to admit your from the hood when you're wandering around someplace nice, but it did get old. I stopped asking which province and started asking which state lol
