It is so hard when athletes pass away. These are people we look up to and give us hope especially when your from bad neighborhoods. It gives you hope in life and in people and when they are taken away in the fashion they are like Sean Taylor and Darrent Williams were...It really hits you and can cause you to lose all that hope. Most people don't really understand and only see him in one way, a football player. He was an amazing one none the less

This video does Sean Taylor justice! Athletically, there was no one who equalled him! He was just starting to REALLY master the safety position and more importantly, he had become a better person. God bless his daughter and watch over her because her dad was taken from her before she could even know him.

I remember sitting in the rain at Doak. I watched Sean Taylor dominate a game from his safty position like nobody I've seen before or since. He has 2 INTs, dropped a couple more because of a soaked ball, recoverd a fumble, and simply put the fear of God into Chris Rix and the FSU O.C..... The single most intimidating DB I've ever seen...6-3...238lbs....4.38 40Yd dash...ball skills, instincts, and a ferocious hitter ( P.K. Sam)....I will never not miss him. A true Cane warrior to his core.... Cane nation remembers ST26! REST IN ETERNAL PEACE!

I'm a big fan of Football and I live in Wales, so it's not really that easy to keep informed on the news and the history, but Sean Taylor really does stand out as someone rather unique, he comes over as a good all round player, and from what we can see, seemed to be a genuine guy. A HUGE shame that he was taken away so young, he had an amazing future.. I'm hoping to start playing in the local team and use men like Sean Taylor as inspiration.
