The most useful tip for me while flying indoors is adjust your camera angle based on the speed you want to fly. That + adjusting the rates so the quad is not too jumpy.

Bro you deserve a million subs for this video.two years later and pro fpv pilots still not posting meaningful contents for indoor flight and you even include throttle rates which is the vital part of flying indoor in my view. I just built my first 5 inch freestyle drone 2 weeks ago. Had couple hard crashes outdoor, i mean totally hard crashes( flying into the crash with that 6s beast) so i made up my mind to just hide certain stuff in the house and learn to fly indoors. If i master indoors then outside should be a walk in the park for me.Thanks a million

This is TOTALLY unexpected. Got my first FPV Cinelog25 (used, with previous owner's settings) 5 days ago and during practicing the most difficult was to handle throttle. 0,00001 mm change in stick position and drone was touching the roof. I watched your video, played a bit with the settings and now my flying technique is waaaayyyy more better. Only after 2 minutes. Thank you ❤

WOW! That was a great video, brother ! For many years I haven’t been able yet to “decipher” all the “jargon”( vocabulary) that most “Pro-Pilots” use when they make instructional FPV videos on KZbin for us beginners! They speak about “rates”, about maintaining your altitude and, a lot more things in a way that does not mean anything to a newcomer. This is the first time I watch a humble guy just being real, being honest, and at the same time making a lot of sense in this beautiful hobby ! I am so pleased and impressed with the way you introduced yourself and how you needed to understand all that is involved in this FPV hobby while people who actually know are not able to come down to the starting place where they were before they learned all they know today! I commend you for doing this video that I know made a difference to me and hope it will make some impact on others like me who have lost their time searching for guidance under the wrong “ teachers”. Thank you you earned a subscriber and will follow you !

I avoided this video for over a week now for the title Masterclass since I thought it was some kind of joke. I'm glad I clicked on it because what an AMAZING video that breaks down the steps of how to prepare and practice for an indoor shoot. I love the attention to detail and minor things that people don't think about needing to prepare for like rates for indoor or prepping your quad. I have the same quad but my first shoot will be chasing a mountain biker and surfer, so no indoors yet! Thank you for this incredible tutorial, I'm a subscriber now! Cheers

Hi Sean. Finally someone came up with an explanatory video from scratch!!! Just as a suggestion: you should have put the final video of the flight AT THE END!!! and use the rehearsal shots to graph your speech. This way, the emotions would be building throughout the video and at the end, the denouement to help bring down the dramatic curve. One question: Is this drone stabilized? IN SHORT: GREAT!!! Thank you!!!

Man, what an excellent video! Just what I was looking for! I do construction progress drone work with a mavic, but have a little Leader 120 to fly around the back yard in acro mode. I started seeing these "one shot" drone videos recently and said the same thing: I *have* to learn how to do that! Been researching for months while waiting to same up some funds, finally just bought a used "thinking p19" and can't wait to start learning. Your video has already been such a great help, and as others have said, it's like the only video I've found that actually shows "how". Great job!! Question: Have you done any more oneshot flights (I don't see any more on your channel)? If so, have you learned any more tips / tricks, not only with the rates / flying, but with contacting people and getting them to let you fly? And...have you been able to get paid for a oneshot yet? Thanks!!

I find the screen aspect one of the most important things! Outdoor I fly 16/9 but indoor it needs to be 4/3! otherwise the walls will deform and give me a wrong sense of proximity
