This episode is so packed with information. My 2nd time listening to it and I’m still (mentally) unpacking what’s being said. Very good episode

It’s astounding how much we know AND don’t know about these processes. A really captivating subject. Thanks so much for providing this type of content. It’s really appreciated!

My hat goes off to planetary science exploration engineers with all of the success we have and what we’ve learned. And thank you to NASA and partners and the USA to fund and share what’s learned. I’m constantly amazed, impressed and grateful that a country and culture does this, and the individuals behind the scenes that make this all happen. Thank you for all of your passion to do all of this science.

she said several points that are against the scientific consensus at this point, quite strange: venus didnt lose its water because its hot, most of its water is just not on the surface because it doesnt have plate tectonics. it may well have more water than earth (tho water tends to aggregate more behind the snow line during formation) venus didnt have a runaway greenhouse effect, it was always like that. its earth that has drawn down most of its atmosphere through life and tectonics. these are some pretty big differences

Could you point to a source describing the current consensus on these topics?
