gotta say, after the characters progressed so much in terms of maturity and burying the hatchet, it feels like backpedaling to see the same rivalries again, with Daniel vs Johnny, Sam vs Tory, Miguel vs Robby and all that…I thought we moved past all that 😅 nevertheless SO pumped for this, season 5 was my favorite, I hope this can deliver!

Johnny and Daniel will always have those tense moments, I don't think they are setting up a longer conflict between then. As with Robby and Miguel, I doubt any conflict will happen either, its that both are definitely thinking abt facing each other again which may cause some tense moments. I disagree with the Sam and Tory thing cus they had the moment last season but I think there's more drama there than there ever was between Robby and Miguel so I think it makes sense it might take a bit more time. And this is especially true due to Tory's personality compared to lets say Robby's

Man I have just one theory since many things are the same, as in the heat among each other 😂 but miguel saying this about robby can only mean that robby is end game. Either in the tournament or in a fight for life against that Kim Boy! But now what's in the box. 😅 that must lead to Mr Han and China to connect the dots finally and set up.the kk24 movie. Or it's leading to Julie. But what if it's about Chozen and he is the son of miyagi 😮😮😮 that would be a twist!!!

Ok a few things 1.the father that needs a son and a son that needs a father is also a repeat story, so we don’t need that as a focus if anything the story should focus on the kid growing up into young adults 2.im ok with Daniel And Johnny having a disagreement for one episode just don’t make it a season arc that was a mistake in Season 4 3. In season 4, Daniel learned he should do things his way and not copy Miyagi. So just because Miyagi wouldn’t do the tournament doesn’t mean Daniel has to do the same. 4.also they also made a commitment to the tournament with test and everything. It would be a douche move to back out just because they only wanted to undercut Silver. 5. Miguel vs Robby is different this time, it’s not because they hate each other, it’s to prove who’s the best

In season 5 - he only mentions his wife (no kids) - just a thought don't rip my head off - but is it possible that the couple do a guardian thing for Tory and her little brother because of their mom? This way too it keeps her greedy aunt from going after mom's checks!

I really doubt the primal conflict between johnny and daniel won't be that big it'll probably be a small plot line in a ep maybe but that's it. I also don't get why u would be concerned about a lot of backyard fighting in the trailer, they are preparing for a world tournament and I highly doubt they would show what's going on the outside as much.

3:08 agree you would think by now in S6 this riffs they have would be over by now. The conflict does not need to come from those two it needs to be them vs the other schools. It seems like every season its them going at it then they come together to take on Silver. There is only so many times you can do that before it becomes repetitive.

I'm a little whelmed, while I love Cobra Kai, a world tournament is not where my head is. It feels like a lot of the same old same old just with higher stakes. Like oh look more miyagi secrets, more how do we balance training with both styles, more of the Johnny-Daniel, Tory-Sam, Robbie-Miguel rivalries, just hoping that there's more interesting conflict that the show is saving as a surprise

I started to roll my eyes at some of the conflicts in this trailer. It's just the same feuds with the same people and that stuff has already been resolved. It's a little weird. Still, this season looks fun. And I'm not surprised that Kreese is doing his own thing where he doesn't have to worry about prosecution. If Miyagi has magic powers, I might be annoyed, though.

I'm 100 percent with you on it. Season 5 ended perfectly. No real need for season 6. The story is no longer intriguing or personal and I don't feel there's any real high stakes anymore with the idea of the World Tournament. Its like Mortal Kombat for kids. lol I'm still going to watch it though just to finish the series!!!
