Great explanation and tutorial, but I dont think this is how Jason Ladyne does it, which is why some of us are here...😂

Either he’s using some marked or stripper cards to make it easier or it’s just pure skill which I am 99% sure is the answer. He said it took him years until he was confident to incorporate it in his shows. That might seem like it’s not a lot, but remember he practices 8+ hours each day.

wow-- can't wait to play around w this dribble-- really looks like you're grabbing that card out accomplishing the impossible !! I have added a stripper card, as well as a short card in my deck at times, as a sort of crimp so I can always reliably cut there. Thanks Sean.

Very interesting! I imagine you could use a belly stripper (convex ends) type cut on both long sides so that effectively all four corners are tapered and you wouldn't have to worry about orientation. I've seen people use a corner short card, where opposing corners are shorted to locate a card in a riffle (or doing a force) as well, which maybe works depending on how you do your dribble.

Great trick Sean. I slightly clipped off two opposite corners and tried the effect, it works!

Also, you can use a stripper or short card as a final true cut to an Ace in an Assembly routine. Make the stripper an ace card, of course. Great tutorial!

I’m working on this idea of catching a card out of a dribble but I just actually catch it and with the help of koysta kimlat im able to even be able to do this but I also use my own way of timing the catch and I also use the Lenore Green control, please post more Jason ladayne type tricks and btw what do you think about jason. Please do a collab with Cavan booth but don’t use gimmicks and do another collab with Reid ferry. Btw do you know who evan era is, he is also a great magician but not a lot of magicians like you talk about him😂 and I have been playing around with the idea of the dribble catch like a Dps jog, a thumbbreak and more but I just came to the conclusion of actually doing it🎉 Anyway please answer this comment‼️‼️‼️

I'm so stupid I don't know what a stripper (card) is.
@patrickodonnell427111 күн бұрын
It's a special gimmicked deck where the edge of the card has a slight taper so that one end is slightly narrower than the other. It allows you to do different tricks where you can easily find or cut to certain cards if they're inserted back into the deck in the opposite orientation to all the other cards.
@ooohla987211 ай бұрын
I think what's happening is that the stripper card is kinda moving forward slightly during the dribble, so it touches your front fingers, like the one who are holding the front of the deck, and so it kinda reverses the stripper card... But that's a great trick!
