This plugin is beast on vocals!....really brings low vocals up and you can tame the loud parts easily as well!

I find when I use the mv2 I get a lot of white noise. Does anyone know how to reduce this?

On your mix? Or Vocals? The MV2 does low level compression (bringing up the lowest levels of your signal), so if you have a lot of noise in your mic chain, it will just make it more noticeable.

yes but like, vocal rider could be used for more different type of vocals in the same performance, like if i scream and than i whisper i'd use vocal rider to balance everything and then compressing, while this mv2 could be use on an already balanced vocal to like increase things that are low like some letters or little parts of the track? am i wrong?

it depends but I currently try to aim for -12 to -10 LUFS for consistency across all release platforms (including streaming)

you could place it on either (works well with vocals too), in this case it's on the master bus

waves maxxvolume sounding better, i use maxxvolume for every compression, low level compression is so much better than traditionnal compression (no artefacts)
