Thank you so much for this video! I was trying to understand how to set the bleed for the internal pages. Just a quick insight, Canva seems to have updated this to make it easier. If you click on settings from the project page you're working on, there is an option to 'show bleed lines' which saves having to move the ruler lines, and creating seperate boxes. 😊

@@ratnarahim7256you can either request for an author copy which you pay for, or you can get a free proof instead.If you choose the free proof, they will not publish your book until after you get your proof.The proof you can’t sell and it’ll say that on there, but the author copy you can sell and it’ll look just like what a customer would order.The proof is basically to make sure that the quality is good and everything is correct

Hi Sean, I wanted to give whoever is reading this a heads up. I’ve been publishing KDP books on Amazon and have had some success. I recently found my books, as well as other books, being sold on TikTok Shops with the price marked up higher. I’m pretty sure what they are doing is buying the books on Amazon, which is cheaper, and then reselling them on TikTok shops at a higher price. Because of this, I will no longer be selling any books on Amazon and have unpublished my books, which broke my heart. I think you should do a video about this and let other authors know what’s going on with TikTok shops. This is a major problem and I don’t think a lot of authors are aware. Thank you.

So someone was buying your books? That’s good. Why do you care if they are reselling them. If you were fine selling at that price to begin with, then think of it as a distributor buying from you and increasing your reach. Unless you have another point on this that is not clear. Another way to think of it - would you rather sell 10 books at the price you asked with no Tik Tok resales, or 30 books with Tik Tok resales? I’d take the latter.

I was trying to build a brand so I can eventually sell more copies and in turn finally make a decent profit. When someone steals from you and just copies and paste your words and makes a bigger profit off of what you created off, that is not acceptable!!! Position on the top will show you all the layers he is referring to the instructions he added on the 1st layer. You can delete previous layers by going to position at the top of the page.

Hi Sean, thank you for sharing all your knowledge! I have a question. I am trying to publish a gratitude journal, which also contains some information and other things. However, I tried to publish it 3-4 times already, and the book got blocked every single time. I tried to change the cover; added information about the substance of the book. I changed the title of the book, so it does not contain 'gratitude journal' (I thought it might be that?).. I have contacted Amazon about it, and I changed the things that they said would get a 'bad customer experience'. Still.. no luck! What am I doing wrong? I already published a coloring book, which is live. I do not want to give up on the book, because I think it is pretty cool and helpful for others as well. However, sometimes I think I should just go back to make another coloring book and other books. I really hope you can help me out! Thanks in advance for replying.

​@@VirginiaTaylor-kf2jv perhaps you don't know what Amazon KDP is. It is Kindle Digital Publishing. You follow Amazon's rules, upload your book and Amazon does the rest. It is print on demand. Amazon prints the book after it is ordered and ships it directly to the customer.

Hello I just discovered your video and I wanted to explain my problem to you. I created a 50-page e-book with Canva, which took a lot of time and effort to get a neat layout. However, when it came time to publish to Amazon KDP, I discovered that PDF was not supported.
