Could you possibly do a separate tutorial on how you did some of the wrapping on the parts of the subway image? Like the bench and the ceiling? I know it was more to just show as an exploratory show for us to do on our own, but definitely would like to know how the mapping of the image goes about in that area... Thank you.

At 2:20 when I drag the material from the camera to the null with the ground plane in it, the material does not show in the viewport. I tried png and jpg but neither worked.

It’s kinda funny that you did in less than a couple hours, what looked like an entire production team (including a film crew, set director ect.) probably costing thousands of dollars, did in a day.....all from a single image. Pretty cool.
@realityuncanny6 жыл бұрын
But you need to look at those Film4 productions. Those are not still images, those are videos.

Hey awesome tutorial, thanks a lot!! I tried it with an image and got amazing results. One question: How can I apply a shadow to 3D object that I add? When I add a plane and use the image as color material with a compositing tag, the plane becomes visible when the camera moves away from its original position... any ideas how I can pull off a good shadow?

Will this work with octane render?
@devilbat874 жыл бұрын
It's a good tutorial, but do anyone know how to apply this technique into octane render? Because in octane render, the camera texture map is messy / black out and no align with camera ? Thanks

Great tutorial. You seem to still have an untextured gap at the front of the side walls. It is disguised a bit by the darkness. But how would you solve for that

I'm fairly new to C4D and I'm trying my hand at this - Is there a reason you're manually alleging the camera and not using the Camera Calibrator tag's tools to get the camera position/perspective right? Thanks for the video either way!
@solaisxs64007 жыл бұрын
Why not use the mograph cloner to do your levels, then you only need to change one and it changes them all. Alternatively, instances would do the same thing, but good job, stralia represent.
