Nah, most of us OG collectors about that "Air Jordan". It's a piece of sneaker history this way, something we've never got before. We actually get to have a "version" of the samples. These the ones where you get that iconic "jumpman" from in the first place. First time we saw the image he had these on, with the "Air Jordan" on the side. If you a true head, you understand how dope that is, period. If you just a guest in this house, then obviously you don't get it.

The midnight navy’s is so nice. Good quality, and replace the black laces with white laces and they pop so much better

I think they really missed the mark not making these 85 cut. I love how the red and black leather has the more matte finish kind of like the 85’s. But that “OG” shape just looks goofy to me by comparison.

Love this pair and the origin story. Collectors like us collect and this is definitely one that will be added. The addition of the "Air Jordan" branding vs the "Wings" logo is a nice touch. The packaging and the addition of the signature on the the ankle collar is super dope. How can you not love this?? I love my Lost & Founds and my Reimagined Cement 3s so I'm not mad at these at all. The black toes are my favorite Jordan 1's. I have both the 2013 and 2016 pairs deadstock. I was disappointed with Nike pushing these back to 2025 so I was fortunate to get a pair of these for a little over retail but will definitely cop another pair on release day. As a og at 54 I am cool with the AIR JORDAN text and the black tongues. Great video and review.👍

I can’t wait, I love the Air Jordan stamp instead of the wings logo. Makes them different. Also, if you wear pants with AJ1s, people won’t even see it.

I agree I like the wings better, but the face that there suppose to be a prototype is what makes them dope. If your a sneaker head you have to appreciate the story if not you were always just a hype beast!

Would you say the leather quality is on par with the AJ1 low OG Black Toes that dropped earlier this year? Maybe even the mocha lows? Or closer to GR releases such as the midnight navys. for me these are a miss. I dont like the V2 Jordan 1s as much as the V1 cut, I prefer the white tongue Black Toes and I cant stand that sail midsole on this colourway and for that reason I prefer the recent lows that dropped.
