So much better than battle of the bastards when jon snow took not one single arrow despite literally thousands being shot all around him while he barely moved ... I love that they actually showed daemon doesn't have that same ridiculous plot armor, got shot 3 times and kept going! I'm in love lol But also how's viserys losing fingers and literally falling apart from throne cuts and daemons getting shot w arrows and he's just fine lol

But the fact that he stood still and don't get hit even once bothered me .. he could have taken an arrow or two and survived .. and as for viserys he's literally getting killed by the throne. The latest episode showed 2 missing fingers, and at last 3 giant festering wounds on his back, so it's not getting any better .. it looks like whatever they try to do to help just isn't working. I feel bad for him bc he's a nice guy, maybe a week king and a bit naiive but a nice dude nonetheless.. but that throne is literally rejecting him if you go by the lore that he is unfit to rule if he keeps getting cut by the throne.. but then again joffrey should have been cut a million times if that were the case along with cercei lol

Yeah, I get the criticism, though it wasn't as bad as it could have been. He was at least shown weaving a bit, and using the environment for cover/blocking arrows, etc. Plus he did get hit eventually. Still a bit of a stretch, but we've seen far worse examples than that.

@@TyrannosavageRekt Yeah I felt the same at first but its not actually as unrealistic as people think.. for archers shooting into a horde of enemies its easy but to try and hit one fast moving target using terrain.. that is actually decidedly more difficult.. and in the end he still got hit with 3 arrows and had to rely on backup to be saved.. I liked it a lot.

That's why everything changed SO much once they didn't have his source material to crib off of. I'm a feminist, but those 2 idiots... they took their fake feminism to heights I've never seen before. Literally sidelining or ruining almost EVERY male character we'd seen in the show, in service of uplifting all of the female characters instead. Which was sh*tty & unnecessary. There were already badass women in the story. They didn't have to butcher the male storylines to compensate. It was horrible. Look how foolish Tyrion became, or how stupid Varys became, and how they ruined Jaime's redemption arc too. And I could go on... Season 8 Jon Snow don't exist in the books. 🤷🏻‍♀️

To the people complaining about Daemon soloing it.... get a life? this is realistic often character drama heavy fantasy....but its still a fucking fantasy show. If you dont have the suspension of disbelief necessary to enjoy that whole damn awesome scene, maybe youre in the wrong genre...Not everything that is going to happen in this show is going to be ultra intimately realistic. it never was in even early GOT days either, so just enjoy the well directed well staged action. This show is not letting daft action overwhelm it like later day got, so i dont see the unrealistic nature of the action scenes as a remotely valid criticism.

The director of this episode said that Rheanyra, Viserys and Daemon emerge out of episode 3 reborn with new perspective on who they are and what their purpose is. Well we just saw Daemon hear that help is coming and he can finally take a breather, but instead he rows out on his own, feigns surrender, and like a coiled snake he strikes cutting down 16 MEN all on his own like he’s playing Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor or Devil May Cry 5, gets saved by his army, and then kills the Crab Feeder and drags his corpse out showing off his new trophy! Daemon just leveled up to Legendary Badass level with that scene alone. As for Rheanyra and Viserys, I love the paths they are taking. Viserys just wants to be a good king and a loving father but he’s still struggling with traditions. While Rheanyra has those beautiful heart to heart moments with Criston Cole, and even though there is some chemistry you can see it’s not romantic, just 2 people being completely honest with each other. Plus the way she walks into camp covered in the blood of her kill 🔥🔥 those men weren’t looking at her as a prize but as a badass princess they would happily kneel to.
