tidbit: kai’s dad’s family is german, but kai’s dad was born in brazil, which makes him brazilian (both by law and our culture)! so kai actually accumulates a lot more cultures hahaha

To your point about the pressures these new artists face, when TXT won their first rookie award, they ended up bawling and then they said in interviews afterwards that the pressure to live up to the BTS reputation was so much that when they ended up winning the award it felt like they didnt' disappoint people and the emotions and pressure that was building up just got released.

Kais family background: father is of German decent but born in Brazil. His family immigrated to the US where he has citizenship and currently resides. Kai’s mom is fully Korean, and the two met in Hong Kong. Kai was born in Hawaii lived there till he was like 6 months old, then his family moved to China and he lived there until he was 8 before moving to Korea. He didn’t known any Korean when he moved there so he and his siblings were home schooled for I think a year to learn. Now, I would say Korean is 100% his first language and the one he is most comfortable speaking in, followed up by English, Japanese, and then Chinese. Though he lives in Korea he did choose his American citizenship over Korean and uses that for his passport. All 3 huening siblings are really unique when it comes to their Korean and English speaking.

about them working out, i think if i remember correctly one time yeonjun got pretty bulked and the company basically told him to calm down abt working out 💀 so i believe now he is still working out lightly and he is just very lean (he WAS always lean though), and now his arms are still pretty muscly though p.s correct me if im wrong, fellow moa^^
