Hey Sean, I have a few questions. I'm currently trying to build this mask following your tutorial. Big fan by the way. What clay would you suggest to use? And with the large jaw part and the 2 large ear parts, what cardboard did you use because I can't find a cereal box big enough. Any help would be much appreciated.

for the glass cloth, idk if it's a bad idea but i've always cut the cloth into strips like you did but I would spray the inside with spray adhesive to lay down a full layer of cloth and then resin the entire thing at once. saves a bit of time i'd imagine but is obviously an extra product needed.

Amazing result! The smoothness after the tedious sanding is well worth it and it looks like a movie prop. When I made my ODST armor based on the Landfall trailer I started glueing my stretchy straps on the underside AND on top, with big overlapping onto the armor material(underside ofc so it wont show). That made the straps extremely durable as one requirement for my suit was that I must be able to run in it, change poses like going crouch rapidly and repleatedly. So for an helmet that comes on and off I would reinforce the straps a bit. Awesome build anyways!

I just want to say.. what you're doing here on this channel. It's great. Making something like this accessable to your audience and showing them how they can do this themselves.. you're not only giving them a chance to make something cool with their own hands, but you're giving them the opportunity to fall in love with crafting. 🎩hats off to you mate. hats off. PS. visually, I think you got most of it onscreen (the gloves to show you were protecting yourself from the fiberglass, and the warnings on the resin bottle).. BUT you have to say these things. this is pretty important to push out there, the whole safety thing. I know you know how to do protect yourself from these things. But for future, if you're using these things, generally people give verbal warnings. And especially if you're sending crafters to the products directly, you should probably tell them, "hey watch out for this product for this this and this reason". If they're smart, they'll read the bottles and stuff. If they don't care, tell them. And if they don't listen, well that's on them. I really don't know how to write a comment about health and safety. I just want to be respectful. And give feedback and stuff. Cheers.

Really love the result. This looks 100% professionaly made, like in a movie set. Thanks for the awesome tutorial and the free templates. Im about to try this myself. Just want to note that a better way to measure your head is using the Circumference of the head, above the eyebrowns, instead of just the width. Or at least that is what works for me

I’m pretty sure you could have used mod podge on the clay instead of the bondo because it would do the same thing. Only difference is that you don’t have to sand it again to get it smooth

The moment I saw the clay I felt bad for you knowing where that was headed. lol I sculpt with that clay, it's a great product but it's not meant for such crafts. Lesson learned though. You should definitely try using it for what it's meant for, you have a natural talent.

Dude this is absolutely insane! I love how clean this looks! If you want, something that I think could enhance it is if you find a green to purple color shift paint and apply it to the back and top of the head, because in the first movie his head seemed to have a purple tint at some angles like they were trying to hint at the purple cap from the comic design, and the color shift paint could give that subtle effect. Now you definitely need to revisit your retractable web shooter and base it off one of the new designs from No Way Home

@@randomapple6390 probably exports the file into another program that flattens out the pieces, then arranges the pieces onto a document and prints off each page. I think the printable pages are already available in his link so you shouldn’t have any problems with that

Really amazing work! Honestly it looks incredible. I'd love to see a follow up video where maybe you create a mold and more masks, or do a repaint of this one - cause the one thing I think this one is missing is the purple sheen the original had. It was some sort of two tone or maybe undercoat, but in certain lights you could see the armour was purple. They also seem to miss it in No Way Home though so I wouldn't stress it 😂

I think I know how to make a web shooter that almost make slinging possible just like we are gonna use retractable with some edit we will use some powerful small neodymium in the spring so that it can lift 50-80 kg then we have to make two shooters in both hand there should be a button that after pressing it it comes back and then again shoot
