Yep when I saw the thumbnail with the cardboard template, I said it looked really similar to the Mr knight head shape. So question: How do you suggest dealing with the cloth texture and stitching
@justanormalanimator83762 жыл бұрын
@@-Tidae if you want to have a cloth texture, idk if this is a good way to do it but I would do like a paper mache thing by mixing Elmer's glue and water and then with a paint brush lay small pieces of paper towel onto the mask with the glue water mixture and then paint over that when it's dry (idk if I explained that correctly)

Omg, when i was making my first ever cosplay helmet, and i had no idea how to do it, my friend came up with very similar idea to this. But we made a base out of thin penoplex, instead of paper. I always saw people do paper base and then remake it into foam, and this is a rare case when i see someone do a mask to the way we did it. It brings back memories and spreads joy.

Dude I just finished watching all your projects, and lemme say YOU’RE FUCKING AMAZING! Everything would seem hard to replicate, but thanks to yours step by step explanation it’s actually really easy. And the result it’s simply unbelievable for an homemade cardboard DIY. I remember years ago i tried doing a Deathstroke helmet and never really finished it cause it wasn’t the best fit and it also taken a weird form (still love that mask, even if is all journal paper mache). I’m sure if you did a tutorial on it today I would have a perfect replica! You’re really tempting me with that Iron Man helmet and Spider-Man mask. Definitely earned a sub, can’t wait to see the next project! P.S Watching your past videos something came to my mind: It’s strange that you still didn’t try to make a Batman cowl. If I can suggest a future project, I’m thinking about an Arkham Knight cowl capable of relax and stretching like in the game, with no electrical circuit but only mechanical stuff like the Iron Man helmet. If you ask me, that’s impossible, but maybe you can do something about it. Only a suggestion.
